    Incredible!

Earl and Matthew were not only great fishermen/guides but so fun to spend the day with. They are extremely knowledgeable about the Island and the fish they share the waters with. I would/will do this fishing trip everytime im in Roatan!

    Great experience!!

Captain Jeremy was incredibly knowledgeable and a perfect guide for our son who is beginner level. We truly enjoyed the experience and as a bonus learned a ton about Boston history from Jeremy on our boat ride. Highly recommend!

    Spanish Spanish and more Spanish

We had a great trip. Trolled the beach and caught a ton of spanish mackerel. The fish were stored on ice and then fileted at the dock. We cooked it up that night and had a delicious meal for 10 people. We can’t wait to do it again.

Skipjack fishing is all about speed, action, and non-stop fun. Skipjack Tuna school in big numbers and hit hard. They run fast, dive deep, and keep rods bent. Many anglers target them for the rush, steady bites, and quality meat when handled on ice.

Teams often troll small feathers, cedar plugs, or spoons at a brisk pace. Casting metal jigs or small plugs into breaking fish also works well. Live bait like sardines or anchovies is deadly when fish are finicky. Chumming, which means tossing bits of bait to draw fish close, can spark a fast bite. Look for birds, rip lines, and surface splashes. Use light to medium tackle with smooth drags and clear leaders for more strikes.

Expect a fast-paced trip with doubles and even multiple hookups. This is a great option for first-time anglers, kids, and anyone who enjoys steady action. Bring sun protection, polarized sunglasses, a hat, and non-slip shoes. Pack a light jacket and a camera. If you plan to keep fish, bring a cooler for the ride home and be ready to ice them quickly. Your crew will guide you on handling, bleeding, and storing your catch.

Regulations for Skipjack Tuna vary by region and can change during the year. Always check local fishing license and permit rules before you go. Confirm open seasons, areas, and harvest limits for your trip. When in doubt, ask your captain about current rules and best practices for keeping or releasing fish.
