    Amazing Corporate Fishing Trip

I took my team out with Steve and Anthony on the November Rain on September 16, 2026. They were professional and super friendly. Everyone caught fish and had a fantastic time! The fact that they had a charter leaving at 10:30 AM and coming back at 3:30 PM was absolutely perfect and was a huge reason why I picked them. I would highly recommend going out with them for anyone whether it be a corporate team retreat or a family outing or just fun with friends.

    Perfect trip!

Ronnie and Cross made this trip, my son's first deep sea fishing, an incredible experience. They were both personable, helpful, instructive and patient with him while having us on the fish. I would highly recommend them, and will use their service again without hesitation.

Black Seabass fishing is all about steady action and tasty rewards. This is a hard-fighting bottom fish known for sharp bites and constant pecks on the line. Anglers target it for fun battles on light tackle and its mild, flaky fillets.

You will usually fish around structure. Think reefs, wrecks, rock piles, jetties, and pilings. Bottom fishing is the go-to method, which means dropping bait to the seabed and waiting for the tap. Squid, clams, shrimp, and small crabs work very well. Simple jigs and teaser rigs also produce, especially when you bounce them near the bottom.

Expect fast hits and doubles when the school turns on. Many fish run 1–5 pounds, but they pull hard for their size. This makes them great for kids and first-timers, yet still fun for seasoned anglers. Wear non-slip shoes and bring sun protection and layers. If you get seasick, consider motion-sickness relief. Captains often provide tackle, but medium spinning or conventional gear with braided line and circle hooks is standard. A small cooler for fillets is useful when keeping fish is allowed.

Regulations for Black Seabass change by area and season. Before your trip, check local fishing license and permit rules. Confirm open seasons, harvest allowances, and size limits. Your captain can explain what applies on the day, but it is always best to review the latest rules for your location.
