The passion to fish. I have been fishing since I was a little boy with my father. Over the years I've fished freshwater and saltwater from the shoreline and from boats in Canada and USA. I'm now retired from my career in aviation and welcome both novice and seasoned anglers to fish for 5 species of migrating salmon in the Discovery Passage of British Columbia's Pacific Playground. In the past decade, I've specialized as a saltwater salmon captain/guide and 'coach' on Canada's Pacific West Coast for both charities and charter guests.

    Fantastic Fishing Day!

    Our trip with Captain Marc could not have been better! We were catching fish from the moment our lines went down. The fishing was hot and we could not have been happier. Captain Marc is very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure our day was a positive one. We highly recommend his services if you are looking for a guide in Campbell River!

    Beautiful day on the water and catching salmon!

    Marc hosted a wonderful day for our family (2 boys, 11,13). We have a beautiful boat ride and caught many fish. The boat is comfortable and snacks were lovely. Marc has a lot of knowledge of fishing and the general area, we learned a lot and of course brought home some beautiful Chinook for dinner.

    Great trip, and fantastic weather

    Caught many wild coho that had to be let go, landed 2 12lb chinook, but lost a couple that were also probably chinook one felt very big. Only one hatchery coho to keep but it is early for hatchery coho to be here in force. Lost a bunch of fish so no lack of action.

    Great fishing trip!

    Booked a six hour trip with Captain Marc and it was non-stop action the entire time. Marc's knowledge is exceptional, and we caught a few different species using a range of gear and employing various techniques. Good value and a great experience!

    Captain Marc is a very congenial guide - he was very kind and patient and instructive for our small group ranging from mid-60's down to our 7 year old grandson. a fabulous time was had by all. We will definitely book again.

Our guests saw some great action this past week hooking up to the Trinity of salmon…chinook, coho and pink. The salmon was filleted, vacuum packed and frozen for transport.

A great week, charter guests were hooking up with multiple salmon … doubling up action …. retaining chinook, coho and pink salmon. Some charter guest took home 20 to 30 pounds of fish!
