I started fishing with my grandfather when I was 5 and developed a passion for fishing. I received my captain's license in 1991 and have been running charters ever since. I have a penchant for fishing and really enjoy seeing people fishing with friends and family. We especially enjoy introducing kids to the great sport of fishing.

    Steve was excellent taught us a ton about fishing caught a ton of lake trout and smallmouth bass. Will be booking with them again!

    Knew where to take us to find fish. Nice smooth reels and good casting poles. Cleaned fish and recommend a restaurant a mile away that would cook them up. We plan on being back in February and going again.

    We had an absolutely amazing time last week with Justy Joe Charters on Lake George! Our captain for the day was Captain Joe, and from start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. We caught plenty of lake trout, thanks to Joe’s expert knowledge of the lake and deep water fishing techniques. He knew exactly where to go, constantly adjusting our course to keep us in the action. It was clear that he not only knows the sport inside and out but also genuinely enjoys sharing it with others. Beyond fishing, we learned so much about the history of the lake, the ecosystem, and the techniques involved in deep lake fishing. Joe’s personality is a huge part of what made the trip so special—he’s warm, funny, and engaging, and he made sure everyone was having a blast, even during our brief rain delay (which honestly just added to the adventure!). Whether you're an experienced angler or brand new to fishing, we can’t recommend Justy Joe Charters highly enough. It's the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of Lake George and create lasting memories. We'll definitely be back!

    We had an incredible day on the water! Joe was so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly a true fisherman at heart. He made the entire trip, fun, relaxing, and memorable. We ended up catching 11 huge, beautiful fish— it was more than we could have hoped for. Joe went above and beyond to help us create and capture lasting memories. We are already planning to go again next summer. Highly recommended!

    First family fishing trip with a 5 and 12 yr old. The weather was absolutely perfect and the lake was like glass which sometimes can slow the bite down but having a knowledgable captain means we still got a bunch of fish while enjoying the gorgeous views of Lake George. Thank you for the special memories, we had a blast!

    We were a group of 4 adults and a 7 year old first time fisherman. Captain Joe did a great job keeping us all fishing. He moved several times to make sure we had good bite action. He was particularly attentive to our grandson. Everyone had keepers to take home and a great time. Highly recommend.

    Fished offshore and had a fantastic time. Captain Joe put us on many species including King, Cobia, Grunt and others. Went home with fish dinner for days! Great boat and captain! Will be going again. Thanks Joe.
