    Ett sant tecken på en pålitlig och erfaren fiskecharter är hur väl de tar hand om sina kunder när fiske- och båtförhållandena är mindre än ideala. Kapten Matt är en fantastisk båtkapten och erfaren guide. Vi hade starka vindar och grov sjö under större delen av dagen. Tack vare Kapten Matts djupa kännedom om Keys och enastående båtmannaskap lyckades vi fånga 60+ fiskar med 21 att ta med hem. Jag, min fru och min son blev behandlade som kungligheter hela dagen. Jag rekommenderar varmt och kommer att boka med Good Times Key West igen mycket snart

    Matt slösade inte bort en sekund innan vi hade fisken på kroken. Lite hackigt men absolut värt upplevelsen. Vi åt vår fångst till lunch på Mac's. Färsk fisk, inget slår det! Älskade det.

    Rolig dag på fisket

    Hade en fantastisk dag på fisket! Fångade tillräckligt med Yellowtail Snapper för att ha till lunch. Hade en fantastisk upplevelse med Justin, han var väldigt tålmodig med min 15-årige son och svarade på alla hans frågor. Vi fångade till och med en ål som naturligtvis släpptes tillbaka, men det var en rolig upplevelse. Mac's place gör ett fantastiskt jobb med att tillaga nyfångad fisk också.

    Excellent fishing trip!

    Captain Justin did a great job balancing catching target fish and pivoting to opportunities available. We caught some big game nurse shark and spinner and ample size mangrove snapper that made for an enjoyable dinner for us all. Captain Justin was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we were all comfortable and having a good time throughout! Highly recommend - he took the time to ensure things were done the right way!

    Kapten Jon såg till att vi fick den bästa fiskupplevelsen! Vi fångade så många fiskar, vi hade till och med en haj och en barracuda på krokarna samtidigt. Jag är så glad att jag kunde ändra vår 4-timmarstur till 6 timmar, för det roliga tog aldrig slut!

Sent på hösten vaknarreven till liv. Stora mängder betesfisk lockar till sig delikatesser som Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper och Mutton Snapper, som sedan hamnar i båtarna och på middagsbordet.

Cold water temps.

Feb 3, 2026 • Key West
The water temp has been coldest I've seen in a few years. The inshore fishery was almost non existent for a couple days. Luckily as soon as the cold weather turned, the mangrove, lane snappers, and sharks slowly starting coming back. On the days with decent conditions and adventurous guests, we ventured to a bit deeper reefs looking for a little warmer water temps. We found some nice red grouper (season closed till May) and a verity of quality snappers. Beyond the reef has been decent. Not exactly all the designer fish, but plenty of action to had be had. Decent numbers of of cero, Spanish, and king mackerels, some cudas, and bonita have been caught. I heard of a handful of sailfish being caught, but was not luckily to hook or see any myself.

Yesterday was a pretty special day. Not only for our birthday girl onboard, but also for the crew. We spotted, chased, and caught multiple sailfish in as shallow as 25’ of water on the reef. As we ventured offshore it didn’t take long before we found some December mahi in 150’. We whacked a few mahi, then trolled our way back home, along the way we found some bonus mackerel in hawks channel. Everyday is different and yesterday was certainly one to remember.

Offshore bite heats up with cooler temps

The cooler weather is bringing our winter time fisheries. Live bait has been plentiful. Pelagic species including Blackfin tuna and mackerel are pushing in shallower towards the reef line. Makes for less commute and more fishing time! Inshore bite has been steady with impressive numbers and size of a verity of species. Cobia have been found on the wrecks. Big muttons in the shallow waters of the backcountry, and quality yellowtail and lane snappers on the patch reefs.
