His love of fishing was passed from previous generations in his family and he's happy to continue the tradition of fishing and teaching on the great Lake George.

4 timmars fiske • 2 vuxnaA great morning on Lake George with Captain Rick and Mark. After booking, Captain Rick reached out to confirm our trip and followed up to discuss the forecasted rain. Despite the poor weather and whitecaps, we caught two lake trout within the first hour of our trip. When the bite slowed, Rick and Mark kept working hard, constantly reorienting the boat and using the radar to search for fish. They were friendly, upbeat, and a pleasure to spend the morning with. We appreciated their effort, professionalism, and dedication. We’ll gladly return for another trip on a day with better weather! 🎣

They are great teachers of fishing and by the end we were hooking our own. As my oldest son said “Im on” as he hooked his very own Lake Trout. I highly recomend and would definitely book again with Austin charters.

Had well over 20 bites and put 14 in the net . Catch and release . The boat and equipment are well maintained and parking onsite was great ! Highly recommend to any angler looking for a great experience.
