Captain Ryan Horst fell in love with Lake Ontario when he first fished there back in 1989. Ryan was hooked for life and his passion has only grown stronger. When he started taking people out on the water, it started as a hobby, but then changed into a successful summer career. Captain Ryan's goal is to make sure his guests have the best time on the water!

    Best Father’s Day present for my husband!

    I booked this 2 months in advance, I got several updates on weather and itinerary prior to the actual day of. My husband and his friends caught several fish and raved about the experience as well as captain ryan himself! Would recommend to anyone and will be rebooking in the future!! Thank you captain Ryan! Can’t wait to cook the catches later tonight

    Fantastic day with my noys

    What a great day. Captain Ryan had us on fish early. we cought several Salmon and a huge Steelhead. Ryan was great with my boys teaching them his techniques and about the fish in the lake. If you are looking for a fun day with family or friends, Captain Ryan is a great choice to attain that.

    Ryan did a fantastic job attending to our group. Prior to leaving the dock, we heard reports of slow fishing based on the weather and wind. Ryan had no trouble putting us on the fish!! Thank you, Ryan!

    Killer day on the water. Weather wasn’t looking good but the captain still managed to get us limited out. Caught a verity of Browns, Kings and lakers. Cant wait till next years trip.

    We caught 3 kings over the course of our trip, captain was professional and knowledgeable, got us on the fish and didnt give up until we got em. 5 stars.

    Ryan was an absolute delight he was welcoming and warm and after about 5 minutes it felt like we were all old friends I highly recommend using his charter services he knows how to get you on the fish and will do anything to keep you on them we had a fair yield for our time on the boat and are preparing to book again soon I absolutely loved this trip !

    Great day. The weather was odd and the lake was stirred-up a bit slowing down the bite. We started out targeting Browns, and though the fish weren't enthusiastic, Capt. Ryan was able to help us get one on the boat. We then went to chase Kings. They were not cooperating, but again, Captain Ryan was persistent. He put us on the fish, worked hard to figure out what was going to work to get them to hit, and with his persistence, we put two on deck. The third fish was a 20+ pounder and came in the last minute minutes of the charter. Capt. Ryan didn't want to close down without "just one more" run. His enthusiasm and persistence paid off and we ended on a triumphant high note with a great fish in the boat. I should mention that the captain's mate took sick that morning and, so, Capt. Ryan was single-handing the charter. He worked hard for us, changing setup/programs frequent and keeping spirits light and hopeful. Suspicious Lines is very well equipped to handle your fishing trip.
