Molly Lazzara5.0VerifieradGreat trip and adventure
5-timmars tur (FM) • 4 vuxna • 1 barnWe had a fabulous experience. We caught fish, but more than that, we had a great time. The crew was so friendly and amazing. We were on a drought, but found the birds and suddenly had 5 on at the same time. Crazy, but we reeled them all in. The boat was super comfy for when we were on the search, so not just a great fishing experience, but a great boat experience too. We ended up taking half of a yellowfin tuna onto shore and the restaurant cut it up for us, fresh sushi! So good.

Amazing trip!!!
5-timmars tur (EM) • 7 vuxnaWe had an unforgettable trip with great catch! The captain and his son were incredibly friendly, super professional, and made us feel welcome right from the start. We had an amazing amount of fun - even though almost all of us spent part of fishing trip fighting the waves and our stomachs at the same time 🤢 😂. Let's just say: the fish weren't the only ones getting a workout! Despite that, the mood stayed fantastic and we laughed a lot. Everything about fishing was explained clearly and patiently, so even beginners felt comfortable and involved. I can highly recommend this experience to everyone - great people, great fishing, and memories we'll never forget! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

6 timmars fiske • 5 vuxnaCaptain Antonio and the crew were very hospitable, accommodating, chatty and professional from beginning to end. We did a 6 hour fishing trip from Le Morne and were able to catch a Blue Marlin which was a bucket list experience. The boat is very comfortable (there were 5 of us) and when the fish were not biting we saw so many dolphins and whales to keep us occupied.

8-timmars tur • 3 vuxnaI went on a family 8h fishing trip with my son and daughter. The captain had the best-equipped boat I've ever been on. Unfortunately, the sea wasn't ideal, so we only caught a few small tuna, and the dream of landing a big marlin remained unfulfilled. However, the crew was very dedicated to ensuring our success. One thing to note, and this seems to apply to almost all operators in Mauritius, is that the crew keeps the catch. I chose Maranatha because their Fishbrooker website advertised that the guest keeps the catch. This led to a brief discussion. I was staying in the north and had to drive almost two hours to the south in the morning. Had I known this beforehand, I would have chosen a different operator in the north. But, all in all, though, it was a good experience.
Svar från kaptenenHi Hubertus, thanks for the review and rating . it was a pleasure having you and the group unboard. hope next time we have more luck by hooking a big marlin
Andrew Wiggins5.0VerifieradPerfect family outing
4 timmars tur (FM) • 4 vuxna • 1 barnThe boat was perfect for our family of four, with enough space for the kids to have a snooze in the comfort of the shade waiting for the fish to bite, but also a nice upper deck for dolphin watching and some sun. Onboard toilet a big bonus. Father/ son (& grandson) combination was very professional, helpful and friendly with a lot of experience. Easy to park at the public beach. We did not catch any big ones, but it was all in all a great experience. Would certainly reccommend them!!

225–250 lb Hammerhead Caught & Released
Sep 3, 2026 • Le Morne
We were out for an 8hours fishing. After 45 minutes out we hit in a school of skipjacks. The lines started singing. We caught skipjacks one after the other. After catching some the school dived down. We saw another school further out. We caught 2 more skipjacks that we used as live bait. Now the waiting game started...We trolled at 2 knots along the ridge ....we had a long wait..later in the afternoon while bringing one of the skipjacks to the boat to check if it was ok...we could note that one of them looked a bit nervous...we put the skipjack back to the right distance...their was two powerful pull on the outrigger then nothing....we immédiatement bring the line back to see that the dacron line was cut...it was a shark.. we continued trolling with the second live bait...few minutes later bang...the line went off the out rigger....we released the brake to give the opportunity for the fish to swallow the live bait....after few seconds it was time to jook the fish. We accelerated both engines and applied the brake on the 130 penn international reel....the fish took about 300 meters of the out....after a good fight a hammerhead shark of 225....250 pounds was released safely. We came back with 9 skipjacks and a shark released.
