Book with Gordo, he will take care of you! we booked a full day trip (8 hours). Gordo provided sandwiches, water, beer and a taxi for pickup and dropoff! Highly recommend it!

Waves can get choppy, take dramamine if prone to sea sickness. The captain also can navigate the waters to minimize effect if you let them know

Fish Curacao on Papucho IV
Book with Captain Gordo , but maybe book a longer outing. We did a 4 hour trip - which was great for us but maybe a 6 or 8 hour trip would have resulted in a couple more fish.

We booked the 7 am trip and seas were a little rough going out but smoother on the way back. They told us that was typical. Had a great time!

Prøv at arrangere din taxatur på forhånd. Det ligger i en lidt afsides del af øen og er et godt stykke på 20-30 minutter fra Willemstad. Vi måtte vente en halv time på en taxa til båden, og måtte ringe til 3 forskellige taxaselskaber og vente en time og 15 minutter for at få en taxa tilbage til Willemstad.

I was very happy how we caught fishing within 20 min of starting off very early. 1st Mate was great, did lose one fish after reeling it all the way in. Gave some good insight on the island and the fishing there. However the Capt. really did not want to go back out after we dropped off my wife who was sick even though we had two hours of paid fishing left, we did go back out but he did so after I insisted and not even at the spot we were catching fish.

Stay out of the cabin while it's in motion if you can. Otherwise, it can bring on sea sickness much faster, if you're not used to it.
Don't forget your hat, sunglasses, and a sun shirt.
