Willkommen bei Hott Pursuit Charters, wo Angeln nicht nur Spaß macht, sondern eine Leidenschaft ist. Kapitän Chris verfügt über mehr als 30 Jahre Angelerfahrung im Nordosten Floridas und möchte dieses Wissen gerne mit seinen Gästen teilen. Neu beim Angeln? Chris' Boot ist eine 25' Grady White Center Console, angetrieben von zwei Yamaha F200 Außenbordmotoren. Es ist mit modernster Elektronik ausgestattet, darunter 2 GPS-Geräte, 2 Echolote, Radar, UKW-Funk und eine Stereoanlage. Zur Sicherheitsausrüstung gehören: Notfunkbake (EPIRB), UKW-Funk mit GPS-Notfallortung, Schwimmwesten und die gesamte vorgeschriebene Sicherheitsausrüstung der US-Küstenwache.
In den küstennahen Gewässern sind die Fänge saisonabhängig und umfassen Zackenbarsch, Roter Trommler, Nördlicher Schnapper, Schwarzer Sägebarsch sowie Königsmakrele und Spanische Makrele. Für erfahrene Angler, die auf Hochsee hinausfahren, wird gezieltes Angeln auf die großen Fische wie Thunfisch, Fächerfisch, Wahoo und Goldmakrele (Mahi Mahi) geboten.
Er stellt die gesamte Angelausrüstung, Angellizenzen, Sicherheitsausrüstung, Schwimmwesten, Köder und Tackle bereit. Wenn Sie Ihre eigene Angelausrüstung mitbringen möchten, teilen Sie Chris bitte die Details mit, da der Stauraum für Ruten begrenzt ist. Er wird auch ausreichend Wasser bereitstellen. Wenn Sie Alkohol mitbringen möchten, ist ein maßvoller Konsum in Ordnung, aber bitte trinken Sie verantwortungsbewusst. Er möchte Fische aus dem Wasser holen, keine Gäste.
Sie sollten Essen (Mittagessen) und Snacks für die Kühlbox mitbringen, falls Sie etwas essen möchten, sowie Getränke, wenn Sie etwas anderes als Wasser wünschen. Wasserfester Sonnenschutz, Sonnenbrille und ein Hut sind sehr wichtig. Bitte packen Sie pro Gruppe maximal 1 bis 2 Reisetaschen, da der Stauraum auf dem Boot begrenzt ist. Bringen Sie eine Kühlbox, die Sie in Ihrem Fahrzeug lassen können, damit Sie Ihren Fang mit nach Hause nehmen können – das Eis stellt er bereit. Ob Sie also entspanntes Küstenangelausflug oder einen Preiswürdigenfisch in der Hochsee suchen, Chris ist der Mann mit der Erfahrung und dem Know-how, um Sie hinauszubringen.

8-stündiger Ausflug – Hochsee am Mai 8, 2026 • 2 ErwachseneI took my son on a fishing trip to cath the bigger type fish he landed the first king of the season as they had just started running and the other type as I forgot the name. we landed about 6 all day and had 3 on at one time and some sand sharks and the last shark was about 200 lbs got to fight him for about 15 minutes before got of just type as looking to fish would done better but the wheather started getting bad and could not go fetter for safety will be back to go out with him again as it was great .

He helped me and my girlfriend have the best experience possible by showing us how to be successful, even at a beginner level. we caught several Redrum fish between 21” and 26” long and also caught several other kinds of smaller fish. Captain Chris cleaned and cut our fish for us at the end and we took it to thr Palm Reataurant down the street and they cooked it for us for lunch! I highly recommend this charter to anyone who wants to have a good time catching some quality fish!

That is the thrill of fishing, waiting for the big one to bite. Capt Chris put us over a slew fish that did not bite. Capt Chris persevered and relocated to a different spot and bam, barracuda’s biting like crazy. It was the best 4 hour fishing trip ever. Thanks Captain Chris!

What stood out most was how much effort he put into making my 10-year-old feel special on his birthday. We caught fish, felt safe the entire trip, and had a fantastic time on the water. I highly recommend Chris and will definitely book with him again.

Chris provided a comfortable atmosphere and ample opportunities to find some fish. We brought in several blue fish, an amazing red fish, a flounder, and a stingray. He cleaned up the red fish and flounder for us to take home. We will be back next time we are in Jacksonville.

I just got back from an excellent fishing charter with Captain Chris, and I’m giving him a full 5 stars! Even though the weather was a little rough and the fish were slow to start, Captain Chris stayed patient, positive, and incredibly skilled the entire time. He made smart adjustments to our drift and locations, and by the end of the day we had a fantastic bite and put a bunch of solid fish in the fishbox. Chris is a pro who clearly knows his waters inside and out. He kept the boat safe and comfortable despite the conditions, gave great advice on technique, and made sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. The gear was top-notch, the boat was clean and well-equipped, and his upbeat attitude kept the energy high even when things were slow at first. If you’re thinking about booking a charter, don’t hesitate to go with Captain Chris. He turned what could have been a tough day into a really successful and fun trip. I’ll definitely be fishing with him again next time I’m in town. Highly recommended! 🎣

Captain Chris was great from start to finish. He knew exactly where to go to catch bait and then head out to catch some big ones. We caught a couple king mackerel as soon as the bait hit the water. We had a few more on, but were robbed by sharks. Had fun reeling in a bonito towards the end of our day. Captain Chris made sure we had fish cut and ready to cook - recipes included. We’ll definitely be back in a few months- hoping to reel in some mahi-mahi.

Had a great day out with Capt. Chris. He was very knowledgeable and had really nice equipment. I booked this trip hoping to troll for dolphin, but we weren’t able to do that due to sea conditions and water temperature. Chris had backup plans and executed them very well, ensuring we still took home plenty of fish. We were still able to scratch out a limit of beeliners and nearly a limit of sea bass. I’ve been on many charter trips over the years, and there are captains I would not book again, and then there are some really good ones that I absolutely would. Capt. Chris is definitely one I’ll be going with again in the future. This guy knows his stuff!
