Bay Reef Fishing Charters 

We had an amazing time witn Captain D. Even though several folks in our group had never fished before, he was very parient and thorough. We were on the fish all evening and never went more than 10-15min without catching something. It was a great experience and will definitly book again next time I am in the area.

Captain Dmitri was great. He tried a new spot earlier on which turned into my daughter catching an amazing, huge puffer fish. We tried his 2nd go to spot and caught trout and ladyfish. Right next to this spot was floating weeds with tons of bait. We had multiple large mackerels jumping everywhere and landed one but broke off on two large ones. The last spot we caught 4 more trout, had baits bit and half and drag scream out. This was just in less than 2 hours with 13 fish caught and some big ones that got away! My daughter and I loved it and captain Dmitri was awesome!

Amazing fishing trip with Dmitri out of St. Pete! Dmitri knew all the best spots and we were reeling them in all day long! We caught grouper, snapper, grunts, sea perch, sheepshead and even a little puffer fish - it was awesome! 🎣 His boat was great and Dmitri was super chill and made the trip a blast. He was always there to help out and make sure we were having a good time. If you're looking to do some fishing in St. Pete, you gotta go out with Dmitri. You won't regret it! 👍

To start, Capt D made sure to head out before the trip to stock up on fresh live bait. We ran into some finicky fish all day but that didn’t stop us from catching. Took a couple spots before they cooperated better and we had bent rod after bent rod. Capt D helped us cross off a ton of bucket list fish, especially with some nice snook and a jack, plus we got lucky and stumbled across a founder, barracuda and even a nice pompano for the table. Capt D made the trip unbelievably fun and made sure we were satisfied the entire day. We’re already talking about the possibility making a summer trip so we can fish with Capt D again. Can’t thank you enough, it was an awesome day and highly recommend everyone use Bay Reef Charters!

I wanted to share that we had a great time fishing with Dmitri. He was very knowledgeable about the local fish, the best bait to use, and the prime fishing spots. Everyone from the youngest at age 8, to the oldest at 58, caught a lot of fish. I took our two sons(17 and 13) on a two hour charter. They love to fish and they had a great time and caught a lot! The captain was extremely patient with them and would show them how to do something and then let them so it was their catch. He shared lots of facts along the way and knew exactly what he was doing and why he was going places. He was awesome at explaining everything as he did it. Explained how to catch different types of fish and they did!! He then filleted everything we kept for us and told us where we could have it cooked or tips for cooking back at the house. Would recommend all the way around! Great time and experience and our boys were very happy!

Captain Dmitri was awesome! Took us to catch multiple types of fish and helped all of my kids bait cast and hold their catches. He even cleaned our keepers for us. Will definitely book another trip with him when we are in the area!

It was our first experience with boat fishing. And we were so excited. My kids had wonderful time. The Capitan Dmitri is very professional and knowledgeable about his work. He was greate with kids. Thank you again for this great time.

Dmitri was awesome! My wife and I had such a blast catching fish! Our captain was so helpful and knowledgeable on where and how to catch fish. He fillet our catch and referred us to a restaurant that would cook up our catch! What a great experience!
