JT Sportfishing Charters 

Excellent captain, great fishing, nice clean boat. Tons of laughs, fish, and good humor on the boat for us which always makes these trips even better.

If you’re looking to stock the freezer with delicious walleye, look no further! Thanks to JT we caught our limit in 2 hours. This was our first time walleye fishing and didn’t know what to expect. JT showed us what to do and not long after we were slinging fish left and right. I know we had a wonderful guide because I could hear the other boats radioing in asking what we were doing right! We were definitely one of the most successful charters that day. Honestly, it was such a blast! Really enjoyed meeting JT, he’s the real deal. Looking forward to booking a charter again to take friends and family.

Excellent trip. Jerry finished his first charter early and took us out early. We caught our limit. Jerry is a very nice guy and very helpful. He did the trip by himself and was very active on the boat. He doesn’t even need a first mate.

Had a great afternoon out with Cpt JT ! The Cpt was on a mission to limit us out, and did so in 3 hours! Nonstop action, kept us moving and catching fish! We will definitely be hitting Cpt John up in the future!

Myself , Brother and nephew had a great Walleye trip on Sept 10. Captain John will put you on the fish. It was a slow but steady day with perfect weather. We limited out with some very nice fish. My 24" was our best. We even had the blimp checking out the activities that day !! Captain John has the experience , boat, gear and the knowledge of Lake Erie that will make your trip a A # 1 . The conditions were less than perfect. Heat humidity and little to no wind. The wind we did get was out of the NE. The captain made no bones about the poor conditions but worked his butt off to put us on fish. We left with one shy of a 6 person limit. There were few boats on the water which was a tell tail sign that the fishing was not great but he had a plan and stuck to it and filled our coolers. This was a lat minute trip due to another charter canceling on our group and we had no reference to go off of. The boat and equipment were very good and well maintained. He was very descriptive in technique and tackle options to get the job done. For a last minute fishing trip in less than perfect conditions it far exceeded our expectations. I will be looking to book with him again and would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone. Have been on several over the years that haven’t produced a limit of fish and either drove around chasing the bite and eating up precious time. JT had a plan and stuck to it, his experience as a captain showed. It was also cool to spend the 4th of July with a veteran on the water. He has a great personality and sense of humor which made it even better. Thanks again for the great trip and a bunch of good laughs and memories.

I’ve never written a review before but I wanted to give a shout out to Captain John for making sure we had a great time and caught lots of fish! His personality completely matched that of my family and we were all able to give each other a “hard time” while laughing and reeling in fish. Would definitely book another trip!!

It was a overall great trip, we even got to go out 2 hours early. Water was beautiful and not choppy. Crew was nice caught some nice fish, was 30$ to clean all the fish which was a good deal. Only thing that might have been a con, was felt kinda of rushed and don’t know if it was because it being a birthday for one of the crew members but hardly got any pictures. But I would definitely go again
