My husband went out with Captain Erik yesterday and came home absolutely thrilled - he said it was the best charter he’s ever been on. Erik was professional from start to finish and incredibly knowledgeable about the fish and local waters. They caught a ton of fish, including some big striped bass! If you’re looking for a charter, book with Erik! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an outstanding day on the water catching Striped Bass Erik is your captain. From the initial communication to the end of the trip Erik was great to work with. Being somewhat new to fishing myself (whilst my 15yr old son was advanced already) Erik took time to explain where we went fishing, what bait to best use for the day, where Stripers might be found and why etc etc. My son had an awesome experience and we managed to catch a total of 10 (!!!) stripers, out of which we could keep 1 (thanks for as well showing us how to properly fillet it). Overall I can highly recommend Erik to everyone (advanced or novice with kids) who wants to spend a great day on the sea!

My boyfriend and I booked this trip for our late anniversary get away, to get the experience with striper fishing. Absolutely hands down an amazing day and experience with Captain Erik he definitely knows his way around the bay and makes an enjoyable boating experience while catching some monster strippers and mackerels for the live bait. We would definitely recommend booking with Captain Erik for any fishing skill level whether it be beginner or experienced fisherman because whether or not if you know what your are doing he will still take the to show it how it is done. I have gone on many private charters. By far. This was the most relaxed the most enjoyable I’ve ever been on the captain was absolutely amazing friendliest person you could ever meet in the world. I highly recommend hiring this captain for a charter. You will not be disappointed.

Went out with my Fiance who has never caught fish. She not only learned very easily thanks to the instruction from Erik, but ended up catching 4 cod, 3 haddock, 1 hake, one whiting, and a dogfish!!! We caught a lot more than that too, and the size of the boat is perfect for a fun & intimiate ocean experience

Eric, our captain was great! We started at the crack of dawn and had a beautiful sunrise to watch as we cruised out. We started by catching bait fish, mackerel, and had lots of fun when we found them. We then went on for the tuna. We have e it a good effort with trolling and had a little excitement when our bait started to jump around. None the less we had no luck and decided to head back for a little stripper hunting. We ended up hooking up a couple times and landed one. They call it fishing and we did that!! The trip was a success as we did all we could do with the guidance of our experienced captain. We will definitely go back with Captain Eric. He knows what he is doing and was , at times, more impatient than us. We agreed that fishing is a little luck, a little more skill, and a whole lot of knowledge. Captain Eric brings the knowledge and skill. We just weren’t lucky on this day. Be back soon and will call Eric we’ll before to charter again. Thanks Cap!!

This skipper worked hard all trip finding us fish then keeping us in the fish. Great but relaxing day!

We did the night run trip with live eels. The fishing was great! Landing big stripers on light spinning gear is an awesome experience. Will definitely book captain Erik again in the future.

It was my wife and I first time fishing in the North East and it certainly wasn’t a disappointment. Captain Erik is excellent! He is friendly and knowledgeable in catching fish. If you’re looking to catch some fish, Captain Erik is your guy! I would definitely book a trip again if I’m ever back in the area.
