Je nach Saison könntest du Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Shortbill Spearfish, Bigeye Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo und alles andere, was anbeißt, an den Haken bekommen. Für diese Arten wirst du wahrscheinlich mit leichtem oder schwerem Gerät schleppen und Grundangeln.

Ohana Deep Sea Fishing ist ein kinderfreundlicher Charterservice, also bring ruhig die ganze Familie mit! Kinder müssen Schwimmwesten tragen, also erkundige dich, ob die passende Größe an Bord verfügbar ist. Denk auch daran, Snacks mitzubringen, damit alle glücklich und energiegeladen bleiben!

Dein Schiff für den Tag ist ein 48’ Viking Sportfischer mit Platz für 6 Passagiere. Es ist mit Auslegern, einem Kampfstuhl und allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Toilette an Bord für deine Bequemlichkeit. Dein Kapitän stellt Ruten und Rollen sowie Köder zur Verfügung.

Es wird ein Bootsmann an Bord sein, der dafür sorgt, dass dein Ausflug reibungslos verläuft. Bootsmänner arbeiten oft für Trinkgeld und es ist üblich, ihnen ein Trinkgeld von 10–20% anzubieten.

Einige wichtige Dinge, die du mitbringen solltest, sind Sonnencreme (kein Spray) und Sonnenbrille. Es werden einige Getränke angeboten, aber informiere den Kapitän, wenn du deine eigenen mitbringen möchtest. Alkohol ist in Maßen erlaubt, vermeide jedoch hochprozentige Getränke sowie Glasflaschen.

This was absolutely the best fishing trip ever!!

We had an incredible deep sea fishing trip in Hawaii, truly one of the highlights of our time there. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the crew and captain made the experience both welcoming and professional. They were clearly experts at what they do, but also kept things fun, engaging, and relaxed the entire time.

The fishing itself was fantastic, with plenty of action and excitement throughout the trip. The crew was attentive and hands-on, making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great shot at landing something memorable. What really stood out was their energy and enthusiasm, it made the whole experience feel special and elevated it beyond just another charter.

Overall, it was an unforgettable day on the water filled with great laughs, beautiful views, and some amazing catches. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Hawaii and would do it again in a heartbeat.

BIG THANK YOU to Joe the Captain, and our fishing expert Kahi! You both made this trip something we'll never forget!!

Great Day on the Water!

I dont have any negatives to say about Kahi and Mike, top notch guys and I would take them fishing if they make it to Biloxi. A 700 lbs Marlin would have been nice…but we caught some very nice Mahi and a Barracuda. Boat was great for my wife nice inside AC and clean bathroom. As someone that has fished my whole life on the Gulf of America including deckhanding, these guys are legit and would recommend
 them to anybody. Will also book again when we come back to Hawaii. 
If I had one suggestion, fix the upholstery on the captians chairs🤙

Amazing Trip!

Capt. Mike and his deckhand were amazing. They know what they are doing and were always hustling to get us fish. I would still rate them 5 stars even if we didnt catch anything. There are certainly cheaper charters on smaller boats. I chose to spend the extra money for my family because of their previous reviews and the size of the boat. It was the right decision. The seas were pretty rough. I was told that it was less rough than ususal. Regardless, it was nice to have an A/C cabin with big couches. A couple of folks on our trip got sea sick. It helped a lot that they could lay down. I could imagine what it would have been like on a 25-35’ boat. I highly recommend them and will book with them the next time I’m in town.

Fantastic trip

This was my second charter out of Honolulu and my first on the Reel Life. I will never use any other company on my return trips. I brought my two sons (10,14) along for the trip! the crew were top tier fisherman and instructors. They took the time to guide my sons through the process of what occurs if we hook up and explaned all of the facilities on the amazing vessel! We were lucky enough to catch two Mahi Mahi and had a chance at a marlin! Overall the only thing i would change is booking a longer trip for the whole day!

Bringing home the bacon!!

Capt’ Mike & his Mate Kahi are great people.  Seasoned fishermen that hubt for fish!!  We extended our trip while we were out and it reeped the benifits!!

We caught a Skipjack tuna that was around 30# and a spear fish (hebi) that was around 70# 

outstanding day / thanks very much!!!
