Willkommen bei River Knight Outfitters! Der Madison River ist ein Angelparadies im Südwesten von Montana, ein verborgener Schatz, den es zu entdecken gilt! Mit stets sichtbarem Sphynx Mountain durchschneidet der Fluss die Gebirgszüge Madison, Gravely und Tobacco Root, bevor er schließlich den Missouri River erreicht. Als Tailwater bietet der Madison River ganzjährig Angelmöglichkeiten und produziert eine Vielzahl von Insekten als Nahrung für die Forellen.

Sie werden auf einem 15’ Ro-Boot angeln, das Platz für bis zu 2 Gäste bietet. Dieses Drift-Boot bringt Sie mühelos zu Ihrem Angelplatz und Sie können sich auf eine zuverlässige Fahrt verlassen.

Eine Angeltour während der berühmten Salmon-Fly-Schlupfzeit wird Ihnen am Ende des Tages einen Eimer voller schmackhaftem Fischfleisch bescheren. Seine Angelschnur auszuwerfen, um diese wilden Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout und Cutthroat zu fangen, ist ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Der Kapitän kümmert sich um Ihre Fliegenfischerausrüstung, Getränke und Mittagessen. Sie müssen Ihre Angellizenzen mitbringen und alle anderen gewünschten Speisen und Getränke einpacken.

Absolutely Perfect Adventure

Just got done with a father-son first-time fly fishing day trip… could not ask for a better time!! Stephen was an awesome guide and teacher, truly went above and beyond (ask him about “Lost Cast Rock”), and was cheery and kind the entire way down. We got a ton of bites, and ended up catching more than our fair share for a random day on the river (seriously, we kept getting catches within five minutes of putting in new flys and had to pull over for release several times). I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you’re a first timer learning the ropes and wanting to catch some good ones out there. 5 stars, 11/10, whatever your scale. Thanks yall!

Our trip ended up being on the Missouri River instead of the Madison per Stephen, the fishing guides recommendation.  He told us Madison was muddy and the fishing was going much better on the Missouri.  So we agreed to the change of plans and everything went great.  Stephen was patient, very knowledgeable and an excellent guide.  I caught the biggest rainbows I’ve ever caught on a fly rod and my buddy caught several nice rainbows as well.  As a novice fly fishermen I learned some valuable lessons from Stephen which enabled me to land the big ones.  Overall excellent experience!  I would definitely book another trip through Knight River and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a guided fly fish experience in Montana.

I planned a fishing trip for my dad’s birthday with River Knight Outfitters and we had a blast!! Fished a full day on the Missouri and a full day on the Blackfoot and we had an amazing time and caught some beautiful fish. Rick was a great guide! We caught our 1st rainbow trout within 30 seconds of fishing. He has extensive knowledge of the rivers and how to fish them and when you catch a fish, he gets just as excited about it as you do. Highly recommend booking with this outfitter.

We spent an entire day fly fishing the Missouri River with Stephen of River Knight Outfitters. We caught tons of quality rainbow trout. Stephen was an amazing river guide! I would not hesitate to book this trip again!

This was one of the best days fishing. Rick Knight went out of his way to make sure we got the fish and had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back again next year.
