Blue Ice Alaska Charters – Yanichka 

My parents and siblings all pitched in and sent my son and I here for my 40th birthday. Captain Brandon and deckhand Bub were down to earth, funny and extremely helpful. They held great conversation, shared amazing stories and made sure we all had everything we needed to have an amazing trip. My son have been talking about the day and looking back over pictures the entire night! We will absolutely recommed Blue Ice fishing charters to everyone we meet and hope to be able to return one day!

Being from South Texas, I booked this trip because I wasn’t sure if I’d ever have the chance to fish in AK again with my dad due to his age… it was money well spent and well worth it! We experienced whales, bald eagles, glaciers, great fishing, and perfect weather! Capt. TC & Deckhand Carson were too notch and very professional and knowledgeable.

Everything went well. The boat, hardware & software functioned well. The Captain obviously knew what he was doing. He & the deckhand had great senses of humor. The knowledge of the Captain & deckhand complemented each other. That was a good complementary relationship. Thanks for the experience.

Brandon and G were great! Family fishing trip with 3 fishing for the first time and they made it a fun and memorable day. The first spot was hot and we were catching halibut almost immediately. We even spotted some whales and a pod of Orcas. Overall a great day!

Cspt Matt and Mr. Corbin were excellent hosts and worked their tales off to put us on fish. We had a great day with 2 whale, sea otter sightings along with great senenery along the way. Fishing was ok, but it is fishing not catching.. All in all, very productive trip!

had a great day out there. boat is in great shape. we went way out and the crew put us on the fish. they were very personable and definitely knew what they were doing. At the dock they took care of everything and set us up at jdock. great time.

the captain and first mate were determined to get us our limit and we quickly found the perfect bay to do just that. the Rockfish were delicious. We will definitely be back! My 5 year old had a blast and the glaciers were incredible to see.

Capt TC & deckhand Travis were both top notch! Very helpful and attentive, they put us on fish right away and caught them all day. We caught rockfish, halibut & ling cod. Thx again Mike Calhoon

Even tho the weather caused alot of swells and a rough ride, Caught Rockfish and halibut and had a great time. The Captain Joe and Deckhand Corbin did a wondful job. And were very knowledgable and entertaining.

Even more than we had imagined it would be. crew was fantastic and we caught fish. would have like to have caught a couple of pink Salmons or so and a trout woukd have been really nice too.
