So Salty Fishing Charters 

We had an awesome day fishing with Anthony. He really knows exactly where to go to put you on fish — we were catching all day. We ended up staying out way longer than planned because he was more focused on making sure we had a great experience than watching the clock. That says everything. We caught a great mix too — king mackerel, grouper, and some huge sheepshead. Just an all-around fun, successful trip. If you’re thinking about booking a charter, don’t hesitate — I’ll definitely be going out with Anthony again.

Caption Anthony was great! He had several great fishing spots up his sleeve and they did not disappoint. In all we caught a ton of fish, including trout, snook, redfish, ladyfish, catfish, Spanish mackerel, and jack cravelle. Anthony was great with my 11-year old son, helping both of us with baiting the hook and handling the fish. Communication leading up to the trip was great, and everything was on time and just a great experience. Probably the highlight of our AMI trip!

My son and I went out for a 4-hour near shore fishing trip a with Captain Anthony, and we truly couldn’t have had a better time! He was awesome at explaining everything so we were all on the same page, worked incredibly hard getting us on fish the whole trip, our hooks re-baited, and fish coming in over the rail, sometimes as we could drop new bait down, we often had “Fish On” almost indelicately after lowering our lines! We caught more than we could keep, including Grunts, Hog Fish (delicious to eat!), Red Fish, and a few other more exotic species too! Great time, Great Captain, Great Boat and Great, excellent time out on the water and we’ve had a few awesome meals from the fish we caught! I definitely would book with Captain Anthony and So Salty Fishing the next time we go out!

Captain Anthony was everything I could hope for. Coming from Wisconsin to Florida for vacation, the communication with Capt Anthony was attentive and prompt. We had to change pickup locations at the last minute due to dock repainting, bit he communicated this information and the new location was easy to find. He was able to put us on fish at several different locations, which made us able to catch several different species of fish. My wife, daughter, son, and I had a wonderful time. Not once out there did we feel like this was just a job to him, but it was his passion and he loved doing it. Our conversations flowed naturally, as if we were out there with an old friend catching up. Captain Anthony will be my only pick for a fishing charter the next time we come down and I will be recommending his charter to those I know.

Let me start off by saying when I booked this trip, I didn’t realize that it would be a 2.5 hour drive for us but reading the description about the kid friendly experience the wife and I decided to keep the booking and make the drive and boy are we glad we did. Capt. Anthony was absolutely amazing! He was super friendly and great with our two boys (10 and 4). We had a beautiful day for fishing and Capt. Anthony got us right on the fish. Capt. Anthony was very informative and great with answering all the questions the kids had, even the 4 year old that questions everything… 😅. Our 10 year old has some experience fishing so after we got him started and the wife and I were catching fish, Capt. Anthony took our youngest for one on one and helped him out so mom and I could enjoy ourselves as well. Even though the fish didn’t stop biting the whole time we were out there, eventually the attention span of the children shifted from the fish in the ocean to the bait fish in the boat. Capt. Anthony kept them busy by “giving them a job” and having them dip out bait fish when lines needed fresh bait which the kids absolutely loved. All in all, if we ever find our selves back in his part of Florida we will definitely be return customers. Heck, we may even make the 2.5 hour drive again the experience was so good.
