Capt Kenneth was top notch. I took my 13 year old son and my husband stayed back with the little one, so it was just the two of us. Kenneth was so genuine and laid back. He helped my son with so much and gave him some pointers to add to his own skill set. He’s been thinking about fishing every day since! After we were done he cleaned out fish and gave us some fish for a great dinner to reminisce on our experience! I will definitely book again on our next trip to Corpus/North Padre Island.

We had 5 people on the boat 4 people fishing on a beautiful sunny day. Boat handled that many people no problem, very nice fishing boat. Fishing started slow even though we had all caught fish would have been very happy. Near the end of the trip Ken found us place where the red drum were biting and everyone caught at least one very nicely sized redfish/red drum that was a blast to close the day, Ken worked very hard to get us on the fish and he did in spite of a slow bite that day. Caught lots of fish, had lots of fun, with beautiful scenery to boot. Was the perfect day fishing. Caught red drum, black drum, spec trout, all ready to cook.

We had a wonderful time! Captain Ken is extremely knowledgeable in different fishing techniques to target specific species such as trout, redfish and black drum! He is passionate about his work and it shows in the dedication and hard work he puts in to make your trip memorable. We got the morning started at sunrise with solid action that didn't stop until it was time to go home. Capt. Ken runs a beautiful 23 ft Shoalwater with all the bells and whistles which made for a smooth ride. Book your next trip with Ken and you will have an awesome time!

What started as a sweet morning ride on the Bay, with views of the city lights, just got better as the morning progressed. Captain Ken's 1st fishing spot landed us multiple catches of the red drum we were looking for and even a few fun-to-catch skipjack that could be used for bait later on. One thing about it, he was patient with teaching us how to cast and how to set our hooks. He let us do as much or as little as we wanted. His casting skills put us in the right spot when our own attempts weren't quite far enough. Capt. Ken was professional and knowledgeable about the terrain, tides,and fishing rules. As soon as two bonus tags for 28" plus Reds were caught, he ensured the tags were approved and immediately stopped the boat action to report them to the state; his ethics as a fisherman are top notch! Following our time in the bay, our fish (of which we limited out) were displayed for a photo op, and he proceeded to clean them for us. His handling of them was done with cleanliness and speed; one could tell he had done this a few times before. All we had to do was rinse them one more time when we got home and put them in the freezer. Truly, booking a trip with Captain Ken will leave you wanting to book another when your time is over. This was an absolute good time! Kenneth is very knowledgeable about the area, rigs and best baits to use for targeting fish. He put us on fish the entire time during out trip. This boat easily got right up in the flats to fish. Very accommodating for any skill level from beginner to experienced. Never seen anyone with such skill at getting tackle back from rocks or reefs, this is the pefect guide for an ultimate fishing experience. Kenneth was in contact the entire time leading up to our day trip due to the weather being unpredictable. Overall best experience and will be booking Kenneth's Guide Service again in the future.
