Pacific Offshore Charters wird von Kapitän Andy Karlovic geführt und betrieben. Kapitän Andy und sein Boot, die ALJO, sind Botschafter für Furuno, Uflex, Nomad Design Tackle, AllSalt Maritime, Burnewiin und Smak Plastics. Diese 35 x 12' JAMA Offshore Rage wurde 2022 gebaut und verfügt über hochmoderne Elektronik mit Technologie, die den Markt noch nicht erreicht hat. Hohe Schanzkleidungen sorgen für Sicherheit beim Angeln in 360 Grad rund um das Boot. Dies ermöglicht über 70' Deckfläche zum Angeln, was mehr als genug Platz für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen bietet.

Sicherheit hat für die Crew oberste Priorität. Zu den Sicherheitsmerkmalen der ALJO gehören: ein 8-Mann-Rettungsfloß, Hochsee-Schwimmwesten mit Lichtern und Pfeifen, Mustang Hydrostatic Auto-Inflate-Schwimmwesten, ein tragbares VHF-Funkgerät und mehr.

Auf Ihrer Tour können Sie auf Rockfish, Halibut, Albacore Tuna und Lingcod angeln. Die Auswahl an Techniken, die Sie verwenden können, ist breit gefächert und umfasst leichtes und schweres Tackle, Grundangeln, Hochseeangeln, Schleppangeln und Jiggen.

Kapitän Andy stellt erstklassige Angelruten, Rollen und Tackle sowie Köder zur Verfügung. Denken Sie daran, Ihre Angellizenzen mitzubringen, bevor Sie an Bord kommen, und packen Sie auch einige Snacks und Getränke ein. We had a great day on the water. The crew was organized, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone on board got into fish. The captain knew exactly where to go — we were on the bite within minutes and stayed steady most of the trip. They kept the boat clean and ran things safely and efficiently without making it feel rushed or scripted.

I’ve been on a few charters before, and this one stood out for how dialed-in the operation was — good communication, solid gear, and plenty of action. We came back with limits of rockfish and a few nice lingcod. 

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, well-run bottom fishing trip off the Oregon coast, this is the one I’d recommend. Great people, good fishing, and zero fluff — just a really solid day on the ocean.

Bad weather forced a near shore charter and it could not have turned out better. Limited on ling cod and rock fish and 1 limit of crab. Andy is as true, and as nice as they come. Will return and recommend. Thank you for making the boy’s birthday!

Great Time On the Water

Had a great time fishing for halibut, lingcod, and rock fish on Captain Andy’s boat. The captain is dedicated to his craft and makes sure everyone on the boat is set up well to catch fish, providing everything needed. Everyone on board caught a mess of fish and went home with plenty to cook for later (including crab from pots we had set). I highly recommend others join Captain Andy for a trip out if they can!

Was nice to not be on a big charter boat.  6 fishing people worked out well.  Rockfish were plentiful, while the Ling cod were harder to catch.
