In Kenai schwimmt ein Fisch mit deinem Namen darauf und Scout Lake Adventures hilft dir, ihn zu fangen! Captain Robert wird dein Guide sein und gibt dir Zugang zu jahrelanger Angelerfahrung.
Je nach Bedingungen könntest du Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Pink Salmon, Arctic Char, Seeforelle, Regenbogenforelle (Steelhead), Dolly Varden, Äsche und alles andere, was anbeißt, an den Haken bekommen.
Je nach Fischart, die du jagst, wirst du möglicherweise spinnen, schleppen, treiben oder etwas Spezielleres in diesem Gebiet ausprobieren. Capt. Robert bietet auch Fliegenfischen an.
Familien, die einen Tagesausflug machen, werden froh sein zu wissen, dass Kinder an Bord willkommen sind! Kinder müssen Schwimmwesten tragen, also erkundige dich, ob die passende Größe an Bord verfügbar ist. Und mit Snacks kannst du nichts falsch machen, damit niemand mit leerem Magen grantig wird!
Capt. Robert fährt ein 21’ Willie Boats Aluminiumfischerboot, das bis zu 8 Passagiere aufnehmen kann. Es hat Ausleger und alles andere, was du für einen erfolgreichen Tag auf dem Wasser brauchst. Dein Kapitän stellt Ruten und Rollen sowie Köder zur Verfügung.
Möglicherweise musst du vor der Tour eine lokale Angelerlaubnis erwerben. Diese Informationen sind in der Regel online verfügbar, oder du kannst den Kapitän fragen. Einige Arten können geschützt sein oder benötigen eine Marke, um sie behalten zu können, also stelle sicher, dass du weißt, was dich erwartet.
Du kannst nichts falsch machen, wenn du Sonnenschutzmittel (nicht als Spray), einen Hut, Wasserflaschen und eine Sonnenbrille mitbringst. Capt. Bob and deckhand Corbin were amazing! My 12 year old son and I had a blast. This time of year the river fishing isn’t the greatest yet (no surprise) but we adapted and headed to the lake instead, and it was well worth it! Will absolutely recommend fishing with Captain Bob to everyone! You can tell he tries his very best to make it a great day.

If this is your first time fishing in Alaska Bob is the Captain for you. If you are a seasoned fisherman or woman again, Bob is the Captain for you. Rain or shine you will catch a fish. If you do not catch a fish within your time frame he will stay later on the water with you at no charge so you experience what its like to catch a Salmon. He takes great pride in watching people enjoy doing what he loves the most. What you see is what you get and that is a genuine human being that we need more of in this world. If you require more attention than others he will help you and make sure your needs are met. A caring soul who has the best campfire stories you will ever hear. I fished with him two days in a row. He went above the clouds and beyond any River in Alaska to make sure not only that I realed in a big salmon , but made sure i had everything I needed. Also, it started raining and he gave me the gear I needed. I took home Salmon, a bigger smile than i came with, and lots of great memories in the great outdoors. Give Scout Lake Bob a call. No better way to end my season with meeting a nice person like yourself. being married to a nurse for so many years I know your job description sometimes takes more from you then it gives us back. Glad to have given you some time in Alaska to unwind. Looking forward to next year showing you what August is all about when it comes to catching fish on the Kenai River. Even though I didn’t catch any fish, he still put in the effort to try and get us some fish!! Seeing a moose swim across the river and seeing a seal made up for it!!
I wish the fish were in the river for you today but we where lucky enough to see mother nature @its best come back in August Fishing is always much better  be safe and good luck with the new job
Our guide Bob was outstanding. He was very personable and patient. I was really impressed that he took the time to show us how to catch the salmon. We loved the stories about the bananas, he kept on the boat. As an additional plus, we had a very scenic view of the river with mountains in the background. Living the Alaska dream as a family with a very personable guide!!!!!we left the trip with 18 fish and a wonderful memory that myself and my kids will cherish forever!!!!

Captain Robert puts in effort to give his Clients a great experience. I was skeptical since he was the lowered price guide but I was proven at the end of our trip that he’s outstanding. He was on time, Kind, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with anglers of all skills. He prioritized his passengers having a great trip and I will be going fishing with him again. Thank captain Robert!
