Shawn ist ein aktives Mitglied der Denver Bassmasters mit mehreren Turniersiegen und 2 'Angler of the year'-Trophäen! Shawn hat während seiner Zeit in Kalifornien auch unzählige Barsche über 10 Pfund gefangen, darunter einen 18-Pfund-Fisch im Jahr 2007!!!! Diese Gewässer sind bekannt für Schwarzbarsch, Forellenbarsch, Regenbogenforelle und mehr – mit etwas Glück haben Sie im Handumdrehen Petri Heil. Am Tag Ihres Ausflugs werden Sie wahrscheinlich mit leichtem Angelgerät spinnfischen.

Planen Sie ein Familienabenteuer? Kinder sind absolut willkommen! Kinder müssen Schwimmwesten tragen, also finden Sie heraus, ob die passende Größe an Bord verfügbar ist. Und Sie können mit Snacks nichts falsch machen, damit niemand mit leerem Magen schlecht gelaunt wird!

Ihre Angelmaschine für den Tag ist ein 21' Legend Bass-Boot mit einer Kapazität für 5 Passagiere. Es kommt mit allem, was Sie für einen produktiven Tag auf dem Wasser brauchen. Ihr Kapitän stellt Ruten und Rollen sowie Köder zur Verfügung.

Sie müssen vor dem Ausflug eine lokale Angelerlaubnis erwerben. Diese Information ist normalerweise online verfügbar, oder Sie können den Kapitän fragen.

Einige wichtige Dinge, die Sie mitbringen sollten, sind Sonnencreme (nicht als Spray), einen Hut, Wasser in Flaschen und eine Sonnenbrille. Wenn Sie andere Getränke mitbringen möchten, fragen Sie einfach. Alkohol ist in Maßen erlaubt, aber Sie sollten harte Spirituosen sowie Glasflaschen gemäß den Parkregeln vermeiden.

Great day fishing with kids

We had a great day fishing. The kids had a great time and our son who really likes fishing loved it. The weather conditions with the wind would have been impossible for us to even try fishing so we really appreciated the expertise and help. There were a lot of technical things we wouldn't have known anything about and the behaviors of the fish in order to be successful in fishing today. The experience made it way more relaxing and enjoyable for us as parents. Our teenager didn't want much to do with it but she did bring in a couple of fish so it was flexible which was also great. I would recommend this for all skill levels and all ages of kids.

Unexpected catch!

We showed up about 45 minutes late, but the captain was super understanding and didn’t make it an issue at all, which we really appreciated. It was me, two friends, and their two kids, and he made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for everyone.

Within the first hour, we already hit our limit. We even released some of the smaller ones and kept fishing just for fun. Biggest trout we caught was around 17–18 inches. Average size was about 14 inches. 

Captain was friendly, patient, and made sure we all had a great time—especially the kids. Overall, a really fun trip and definitely worth it. Would book again.

communication throughout the process was very good. The equipment was perfect for the trip. Shawn took the time to explain the techniques used to catch fish.  He was very knowledgeable of the lake we fished.  I caught plenty of fish and also landed a great fish at the end of the day.

We had an incredible day out on the water with Shawn. From start to finish, everything was top notch. The boat and equipment were pristine and very well maintained, and we caught well over 15 fish including some really nice ones!

Shawn was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also great company. The conversations flowed all day and there was never a dull moment. He made the whole trip fun, relaxed, and memorable.

Absolutely amazing experience! We went out on a fishing trip with Captain Shawn, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Captain Shawn was incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take the boys to find the fish—they ended the day with a total of 37 catches! He was patient, helpful, and shared plenty of tips and tricks that made the experience even more enjoyable and educational. The kids had a blast, and it was a highlight of our trip. We’ll definitely be booking with Captain Shawn again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend! 🎣

Great day fishing with kids

We had a great day fishing. The kids had a great time and our son who really likes fishing loved it.
