Fish Head Water Sports 

Really glad we booked this fishing trip with James. It was a group of 4 of us, including my father, 8 year old son and wife. We all had great catches and overall really enjoyed our time on the water. James is a fantastic guide. He made every effort to ensure we got a good amount of fish and went above and beyond by cleaning, filleting and bagging all the fish we caught. He really helped make this a wonderful family memory. We already can’t wait to go back and when we do, we will absolutely be booking with James again.

This was our first charter fishing trip, and it exceeded every expectation. We had an incredible day on Lake Conroe and limited out on hybrid striped bass within the first hour, which really speaks to his knowledge of the lake and ability to time it right. We then went to fish catfish which was another hit. We made it out with a full ice chest. He knows exactly where to go and when—it’s not luck, it’s experience. If you’re considering booking, trust him and follow his lead. He was also great with our 12-year-old son—engaging, patient, and made the whole experience fun and easy from start to finish. Watching him clean the fish was definitely a memorable moment 😅 Highly recommend. We’ll absolutely be back.

Captain James made my son’s birthday fishing charter absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we got on the boat, he was friendly, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable. My son and his friend caught so many fish—it seemed like they were reeling one in every few minutes. Captain James did a great job helping them, keeping things fun, and making sure they had the best experience possible. The boys had an amazing time and are still talking about it. If you’re looking for a fantastic fishing charter, I highly recommend Captain James. We’ll definitely be back!

I went out on a morning fishing trip with James and wow! it did not disappoint! James was quick to assess what sort of fishing I wanted to do and set to work quick! We were out quickly to the first spot to see what was going on, after a short while there was nothing so James was keen to move and that was a perfect decision. With his knowledge of the lake he quickly got me onto a new spot and the fish just kept coming! multiple hook ups at once! the trip was everything i could wish for and more! If i ever come back to the area again, id jump straight back to see James!!

Captain James delivered a fantastic experience for our family fishing trip for our daughter’s 13th birthday! We caught 30 fish including catfish, bluegill, and large mouth bass. Capt. James knew all the best spots and used tech to help us see exactly where the fish were. We even went fishing in a swimming pool! #iykyk Amazing experience, highly recommend.
