Ich bin ein begeisterter Sportler, geboren und aufgewachsen hier in den Bergen des westlichen North Carolina. Ichangle seit meiner frühen Kindheit auf Forellen und Barsche. Ich hatte meine erste Fliegenrute, bevor ich 10 war, und fing einheimische Bachsaiblinge im Park, bevor die meisten Kinder ihr erstes Nintendo bekamen. Die Natur ist seit meiner Geburt eine Leidenschaft von mir.
Ich habe kürzlich meine berufliche Karriere umstrukturiert, um meine Leidenschaft als Vollzeitkarriere zu verfolgen. Ich besitze einen lokal betriebenen Guide-Service, der Angel-, Rucksack- und Wandertouren anbietet. Was mich von meinen Mitbewerbern unterscheidet, ist meine einheimische Kenntnis der Gegend und Flüsse sowie meine langjährigen Erfahrungen als professioneller Rafting-Guide. Ich habe über 1000 kommerzielle Wildwasser-Rafting-Touren vor Ort für einen Anbieter absolviert und hatte nie Unfälle, Verletzungen oder schlechte Bewertungen.
Ich lege großen Wert auf Sicherheit und darauf, Ihren Traumfisch zu fangen, sei es ein einheimischer Bachsaibling, der noch nie einem Menschen begegnet ist, eine Trophäen-Forelle oder ein Ausflug mit Übernachtung/Mehrtagesausflug in eine der landschaftlich reizvollsten Schluchten des Landes. Meine Wildwasser-Erfahrung ermöglicht es mir, Sie in einige der abgelegensten Schluchten an der Ostküste zu bringen. Lassen Sie uns ein Monster fangen und Erinnerungen schaffen.

Evan, was straight forward telling us that the chances of catching any trout were low due to the Hurricane and time of year. He was very patient helping myself and my wife how to fly fish. He also told us about some great places to view some local waterfalls. Although we didn’t catch any fish it was still worth it to spend the day on the water. Will definitely book a trip with Evan on our next visit to Asheville!
what an absolute great time i had floating on the water . the guide was top notch for me with knowledge , teaching , piloting , and even had lunch and drinks . from the start the professionalism blew me away . the guide was very thoughtful and allowed me to do whatever kind of fishing i wanted to do. now the the confidence this man gave me let me know he could handle anything on the water . everything was included and so well thought of even down to an emergency phone . my guide wasn't just that he was a fun smart person that i look forward to piloting me around again soon .
I fished with Evan for 3 days and he was fantastic. We always caught numerous fish and he was very knowledgeable about the river. He was patient and kind even when we kept getting snagged on the bedrock in the river. The most important thing was that as a woman he was willing to take me out fishing. I tried numerous companies and they did not seem to be interested in taking a women fishing. So ladies if you want to go fishing I would 100% recommend Evan. He will make sure you catch fish and feel safe. When I go back to Asheville I am booking with Evan again!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and guide. Evan was so patient and knowledgeable. Thoughtful with his preparations to accommodate the day. My son couldn’t stop thanking me all evening, with Evans assistance he helped my boy land 10 trout, and a few different species of them was icing on the cake. We will come back to Asheville and when we do i would definitely look at working with him again. Thanks for everything!
This was a Father’s Day trip a week late with my adult daughter. Evan’s a great guy and we exchanged several messages before the trip working out things we wanted to focus on learning while fishing. He worked with her on her fly casting and presentation and with me on reading water and lure presentation as well. We both felt our skills improved and we caught some nice smallmouth as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better day.
