Salt Addict dreht sich alles um das Angeln in den atemberaubenden Gewässern von Chincoteague. Mit vielen Stunden Erfahrung auf diesen Gezeiten ist Kapitän Bruce bestens darauf vorbereitet, Sie zum Fisch zu führen.
Diese Gewässer sind bekannt für Yellowfin Thunfisch, Bigeye Thunfisch, Bluefin Thunfisch,
Mahi Mahi, Schwertfisch, Schwarzer Seebarsch, Tiefseefisch, Flunder, Grauer Drückerfisch, Spadefish und mehr – mit etwas Glück werden Sie im Nu straffe Leinen haben. Bei diesen Ausflügen können Sie mit Schleppangeln und Grundangeln mit leichtem oder schwerem Gerät rechnen.
Möchten Sie die ganze Familie nach draußen bringen? Kinder sind absolut willkommen! Fragen Sie unbedingt nach, ob Rettungswesten in Kindergrößen verfügbar sind, andernfalls sollten Sie Ihre eigenen mitbringen. Denken Sie auch daran, Snacks mitzubringen, damit niemand mit leerem Magen schlechte Laune bekommt!
Sie werden an Bord eines 36’ Cape Horn Center Console sein, das bis zu 6 Passagiere aufnehmen kann. Es ist mit Auslegern und allem Nötigen ausgestattet. An Bord befindet sich eine Toilette für Ihren Komfort. Ihr Kapitän stellt Ruten und Rollen sowie Köder zur Verfügung. Lebendköder sind inklusive, aber Sie sollten den Kapitän fragen, ob Sie diese selbst fangen werden.
Es wird ein Bootsmann an Bord sein, um Ihren Ausflug reibungslos zu gestalten. Die Bootsmänner arbeiten hart, um Ihren Ausflug erfolgreich zu machen, daher ist ein Trinkgeld von 10–20% üblich.
Ihre Angelerlaubnis für den Tag ist durch das Charterboot abgedeckt, kommen Sie einfach angelbereit! Beachten Sie, dass für einige Fische Fangbegrenzungen oder Schonzeiten gelten können. Fragen Sie einfach nach, und Ihr Kapitän kann Ihnen mehr darüber erzählen. Captain Bruce was incredible—so helpful, patient, and genuinely listened to exactly what we wanted to do. He made sure everyone was comfortable, had fun, and got the experience we were hoping for. We caught triggerfish, flounder, and even two sharks! 🎣🦈 It was such a fun day on the water, and Bruce’s knowledge of the area and willingness to make the trip exactly what we wanted really made the experience special. We had fun catching flounder, tautog, triggerfish, seabass, and blue fish. We even took time to watch the dolphins before the unexpected weather change. I highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great time with the family and can't wait for our next trip.

Bruce and Bryan were great with my 10 and 14 year olds, they even let the 10 year old sit beside the captain on the way back. We caught keeper fish and always had lots of action. Would highly recommend this boat and captain to anybody. Thanks so much for such a great time.

I told him this trip to the Canyon was for my 15 yo grandson. He snd his team went over and above. Chris and Brian are the best first mates and worked hard to make this a day my grandson won’t forget. Now; you can never guarantee the fish being cooperative but the knowledge and competence of this team increases your chances greatly. It did for us. The boat? Beautiful fishing boat that handles super well in the chop and wind. We intend to return for another outing. Can’t recommend this Captain and team more…

Captain Bruce and first mate Cane made our family of four feel welcome and looked after. Super knowledgeable about the area and knows all the good fisging spots. Our tweens enjoyed the ride as much as the fishing. We had a family member get seasick and they were so gracious and accomodating. Would absolutely recommend the Salt Addict and Captain Bruce.

We have been bringing our grandpeeps since they were born 20 years. Traditionally, our last meal on the Island is to process our experience of the week. The grands and Pap all agreed, "our fishing trip was the BEST vacation ever!!" Thank you, so much Captain Bruce and Wayland. Please thank Mrs. Bruce for teaching them how to fry the Trigger.
