I can't say enough good things about my trip with Jeshua Kavanaugh. From the moment we got on the water, you could tell he genuinely loves what he does and knows these waters inside and out. He worked hard all day to keep us on fish, and it definitely paid off. The highlight of the trip was landing an absolute trophy, a 48-inch bull redfish! On top of that, we caught several other species and had action throughout the day. Jeshua was patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and relaxed while sharing tips along the way. This wasn't just a fishing trip, it was a memory I'll never forget. If you're thinking about booking a trip, don't hesitate. I rarely fill these things out, but Captain Jeshua Kavanaugh was incredible and made this trip a life long memory for my family. We told him we were looking to catch some bigger fish as we were used to bass fishing and he put us right on some snook and redfish. we caught several 15-25lbs fish and made memories to last a life time! He was warm and friendly and always helpful even when we made mistakes or got our lines caught. I have been on several charters and he is by far the best captain I have ever seen. What an experience. We booked a fishing trip out of Dayton with Jeshua for me, my brother, and my son who had never fished before. I wasn’t sure how he’d take to it… but Jeshua was incredible from the start. So patient, so calm, and genuinely invested in making sure my son enjoyed every second. He took the time to teach him properly, build his confidence, and make it fun. By the end of the trip, my son had gone from never holding a rod… to looking like a proper little pro. That doesn’t happen without someone who really cares. The fishing itself was amazing, great guidance, great spots, and a brilliant atmosphere throughout his knowledge of the water is unparalleled But more than anything, thank you Jeshua. The captain is fantastic with young fishers. He is patient and knows how to calm their concerns and to build on their skills. Best of all, he knows where the fish are. On our trip, my ten-year old grandson caught a fish he will never forget. He landed a 46 inch redfish. This is a repeat trip for us. We love this guy.

Plain and simple, Captain Jeshua has the best electronics, equipment and years of experience to get you onto fish fast and often. I brought my 14 year old son from Massachusetts and told the captain previously I was hoping the get him hooked on something big. He came guns loaded with the right bait and gear to do just that. (3) 45-50 lb. Bull reds later, my son said “holy @&$;, this is incredible”. Couldn’t agree more. Great trip, great learning, great decision.

Woke up to 35 degree temps and wasnt very confident we would catch fish during a cold front but capt Jeshua knew exactly what to do and where to go! He put the boat right on the fish and we were hooked up instantly! We landed numerous large black drum and ended up the day with a large bull redfish. I can promise that i will be talking about this trip for a long while and surely will be returning to fish with Jeshua again!

​Had an incredible day fishing with Jeshua and my son. He found a spot with huge fish almost immediately and kept us moving between beautiful locations with expert guidance. He even cleaned our catch and coordinated a 'hook and cook' dinner for us at Off the Hook. Jeshua feels like a long-time friend—the kind of person you can fish with for hours without even noticing the time. Highly recommended!

We arrived at the boat and everything was perfectly prepared. We went to four different spots. We caught many fish including 40 inch redfish. Our captain was kind, helpful and did everything he could to give us a great trip. Highly recommend.

Jeshua was absolutely amazing! This was a relatively short notice trip with my 12 year old son. To put it simply, Jeshua was absolutely incredible. He knew exactly where to fish to find the big ones. He seemed genuinely excited about my son catching a big fish. Such a great and knowledgeable guide. 100% recommend this guide! We WILL book again!
