Vor der Küste von Huntington Beach wartet ein Fisch mit Ihrem Namen darauf, gefangen zu werden, und Wahooson Charters hilft Ihnen dabei! Ihr Guide für den Tag ist Kapitän Pat, der jahrelange professionelle Erfahrung mitbringt.
Wir werden je nach Bedingungen auf Blauflossen-Thunfisch, Gelbflossen-Thunfisch, Schwertfisch, White Seabass, Heilbutt, Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Pacific Barracuda, Dorado und mehr angeln. Während der Tour können Sie mit leichtem Tackle fischen, Popping betreiben, schleppen oder mit Lebendködern treiben. Kapitän Pat bietet auch Drachenfischen an. Für die Abenteuerlustigen unter Ihnen gibt es Speerfischen (bringen Sie Ihre eigene Ausrüstung mit).
Wenn Sie mit der Familie reisen, werden Sie froh sein zu wissen, dass Kinder an Bord willkommen sind! Kinder müssen Rettungswesten tragen, und da der Charter keine Kinder-Rettungswesten an Bord hat, bringen Sie bitte Ihre eigenen mit. Denken Sie auch daran, Snacks und Getränke mitzubringen, damit niemand mit leerem Magen unzufrieden wird!
Sie werden von einem 37' Freeman Katamaran aus fischen, der bis zu 6 Passagiere befördern kann. Es gibt eine Toilette an Bord für Ihren Komfort. Sie werden zwischen 25 und 100 Meilen vor die Küste zu den Fischgründen fahren. Je nach Bedingungen werden Sie mit 40-50 Knoten unterwegs sein!
An Bord finden Sie hochwertige Shimano Rollen. Lebendköder sind eine Option, wobei Sie an der Köderplattform halten können, um welche mitzunehmen.
Ein Erster Maat/Deckhand wird dafür sorgen, dass alles reibungslos läuft. Ein Trinkgeld von 10-20% ist üblich, um Ihre Wertschätzung für ihre harte Arbeit zu zeigen.
Angellizenzen sind für alle erforderlich. Es ist immer ratsam, Wasser in Flaschen, Sonnencreme und Sonnenbrille mitzubringen. Alkohol ist in Maßen erlaubt, vermeiden Sie jedoch hochprozentige Spirituosen sowie Glasflaschen.

Booked a half day on the Wahooson with Pat Wade as captain. Was told to show up a little early as the fish were far and we needed to make a long run to the good water. We loaded up on premium sardine and headed offshore 45 miles in search of Dorado, they were in serious numbers at the time. We stopped on a kelp paddy around 6:30am and landed a couple fish after losing a few. We moved to look for another paddy and that’s when we found the “magic one”. It was absolutely LOADED! We all had fun for a few hours hooking and landing very nice quality dorado. Every fish that hit the deck was spiked, bled, and wired “Ike Jime”. We were done by 11am and headed back the barn early. Best half day of my life! Can’t say enough about my experience on the Wahooson with Pat. He truly cares about having a good time and especially fish quality. The fish I took home was some of the best quality fish of my life. I’d recommend this charter to anyone looking to fish in style with speed and comfort. If anyone has ever heard about Freeman boats, they are everything they are hyped up to be and more.

This is by far the best BFT trip I have ever been on! Captain Pat knows all the ins and outs of fishing these monster bluefin. He had the top of line tackle so when I was pulling in this 100#+ giant I had all the confidence that my tackle would not fail. Not only is Captain Pat funny, polite and very knowledgeable about fishing, his boat is built for slaying these big boys. It’s fast and comfortable with plenty of space to walk around and fish. I will be booking again in the very near future!

Booked a trip with captain Pat on the wahooson last October to take some of the company guys out. Could not have went any better, beautiful boat, knowledgeable captain with all of the assistance we needed. Even with spotty fishing reports Pat was able to get everyone on the boat a solid fish. Crew went home happy with a cooler of fresh fish. Highly recommend fishin this boat!!

Great experience with Capt. Pat on our full day trip targeting bluefin. Pat was able to locate many schools of tuna and set us up for success on the Wahooson. This boat is incredible and can get you from spot to spot very quickly. Also, the Wahooson is super spacious so you’ll feel especially comfortable on this boat. I can’t wait for our next trip! Tight lines!

Had an amazing one day trip to Santa Barbra Island. The Freeman being the star of the show! What a bad ass boat! Incredible to get to SBI that fast in so much comfort. Captain Pat and Alec are both on point in every aspect. We wanted some quick seabass and thats exactly what we got! We were hooked up 3 hours after boarding and back home after lunch.
Thanks Tom! That was a lot of fun catching those seabass so close to the island! Great job by you and your buddies as White Seabass are known as "The White Ghost"!
