Kapitän Jerry Vrbanovic ist ein von der US-Küstenwache zertifizierter 100-Tonnen-Meisterkapitän. Sein Vater war ein Berufsfischer, und Jerry wuchs in Bewunderung für die Arbeit seines Vaters auf und half ihm, wann immer sein Boot zur Fisherman's Wharf in San Pedro zurückkehrte.
Jerry hat schon immer alles geliebt, was mit Angeln zu tun hat, und verbrachte seine gesamte Freizeit an den nahegelegenen Docks. Als er zwölf Jahre alt war, begann er als Pinhead auf dem von Paul Strasser von San Diegos Independence Sport Fishing betriebenen Monte Carlo Sportfischerboot zu arbeiten. Bald arbeitete er sich zum Deckhand hoch, und in dieser Position lernte Jerry die Kunst des außergewöhnlichen Kundenservice.
Darüber hinaus lehrte Jerrys Erfahrung unter talentierten Kapitänen ihn die Bedeutung von Bootsicherheit und -wartung. Er angelte weiterhin in seiner Freizeit und unternahm viele Reisen zur Catalina Island und nach Mexiko.
Er liebte es, Taschen mit wild gefangenem Tuna, Bass, Yellowtail und Rockfish mit nach Hause zu bringen. Er und sein Vater bereiteten oft traditionelle kroatische Gerichte zu, da beide es lieben zu kochen und andere zu bewirten.
Jerry träumte davon, sein eigenes Sportfischereigeschäft im Golf von Mexiko zu führen, und beschloss, Sarasota zu seinem Zuhause zu machen. Sein Ziel ist es, seinen Kunden einen großartigen Angeltag zu bieten. Er liebt es, Menschen mit wunderschön filetierten Fischen nach Hause zu schicken, die bereit sind, gekocht und verschlungen zu werden!

I booked a fishing trip with Captain Jerry for my son (10) and me during his Spring Break. We had a fantastic time. Capt Jerry communicated great leading up to the trip. He even offered to flex our time because it was going to windy. (We couldn’t due to flights.) Marina is easy to get to and boat is easy to get on. Great time out to get fishing and Capt Jerry knows where to go. Most appreciated is he focused on my fishing fanatic son and helped him catch a bunch of fish. My son wants to go back…so do I. I highly encourage you to book with Capt Jerry.

Captain Mike did his best to make the trip very enjoyable for my family. Waves were a bit rough and he found a great spot where we caught a lot of snapper, along with some other species. He recommended a great location that cooks your catch and it was absolutely amazing, putting the final stamp on a great day. I definitely recommend and we will be booking with Wild Catch Fishing Charters again!

Our fishing trip was a last minute booking for my wife, 2 teenage children, and myself. Captain Jerry very quickly returned by call, was truly excited we booked, and assured me that we would catch fish, which we did. On a 4 hour afternoon trip, Captain Jerry quickly put us on the fish. We caught 5 Spanish mackerel, 2 large sheepshead, and 6 grunt. Captain Jerry was very engaging and a nice person. I would definitely recommend fishing with Captain Jerry Vrbanovic with Wild Catch Fishing Charters!

Captain Jerry provided a top notch fishing trip, jammed packed with great vibes. His expertise and easy-going manner is so perfect for our family, I forgot he wasnt a blood relative. My group of 6 had the best morning with Captain Jerry! Loaded up the boat & headed to a close spot for a few quick catches. Then headed another 7 miles out where everyone in our group each caught multiple fish. Captain Jerry was great about moving to the next spot if the fish werent coming. Very pleased with our excursion. Will be coming back to fish again or for a day charter around Siesta!
