Captain Thomas made this trip memorable, from the crabbing to the fishing and crossing the bar like the true captain he is. We made our way onto the ocean caught lots of yellowtail rockfish and kept myself on a rod while he helped my 9yr old son out fish me. He also treated us like long time friends the entire day with plenty of laughs and stories. We got the best experience, we caught fish and crab and limited on both. While I say that we all know the varibles had to be perfect to make all that align to have an amazing trip like we did. 11/10 recommend for the experience let alone the perfect catching day.

We caught our limit of rockfish within 2 hours. Captain Tom and Captain Josh were both super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All the fish were filet at the dock and we left with several bafs full. We had an awesome fish fry and crab boil for dinner. Thanks again, apocalypse.

A spectacular day on the river. The best money spent on vacation. The captain was right on time and the crew was great. Everything was perfectly cleaned and made a dinner better than could be expected. Thank You Captain Thomas.

Limited out on salmon in 2 hours. Caught maybe 5 wild fish had to turn back and 1 chinook and 3 clipped coho. Great time will be back again to fish with Capt Mark.

Captain was very professional and on the fish and crab. He was great with my boys. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to catch fish.

We had an awesome time! we caught 72 crab @ 6 person limit. I definitely recommend Apocalypse!

Tom was a great guide. From giving us a rundown and answering questions before departing to cleaning and fileting our fish when we got back to the docks. Everybody caught fish. A few hit limits. Tom had our trip planned out so well that the first lines in the water pulled up fish. I was nervous about going out on the ocean but after seeing Tom navigate us out of the bar I had complete faith in him. We spotted a sunfish basking in the rays and Tom was able to get us close enough for pictures. Bait was plentiful. Knowledge was apparent as he was able to answer any questions that our group had. 10/10 would recommend and my whole group is already talking about booking with Apocalypse again.

Went fishing with Apocalypse Guide Service and caught my first halibut!! The first one was 23 inches and the second one was 48 inches long!! We also caught 4 Ling Cod, 1 huge Canary rock fish, and other rock fish. If you haven't been halibut or bottom fishing then you absolutely need to give them a call and get a trip scheduled. It's always a great time and they will get you on the fish. I got a full boat (6 guests total) and the 6 of us split the cost evenly. It's more then worth it and I will be booking another trip! I suggest you book a trip, you will not regret it.

I took my wife on her first ever vessel fishing trip for her birthday to experience the wild salmon run on the Umpqua River. She and I had the very best time with Mark and crew at Apocalypse Charters . They were gentlemen and would say that it was very well put together to get on the bite. There were many other boats that were not celebrating like our group, we had landed the biggest Coho of the boats season :) Thanks Apocalypse Charters, we hope to see you again someday soon!!
