A Live One ist ein Freeman Boatworks Custom 29' Center Console. Frisch neu motorisiert für 2025 mit Yamaha 300 Doppelmotoren und einer kompletten Elektronik-Konsolen-Auffrischung, hat es alles, was Sie für einen produktiven Tag auf dem Wasser brauchen. Es ist der einzige Freeman-Angelcharter auf HHI, ein Hochleistungs-Katamaran-Rumpf mit unvergleichlichem Fahrkomfort. Das breite Layout dieses Bootes ist eher mit einem 34' Monohull in Bezug auf den Platz vergleichbar und unbestreitbar stabiler und ruhiger als Boote in und über seiner Klasse. Kommen Sie schnell und bequem ans Ziel, mit mehr Zeit zum Angeln!

Backcountry/Inshore-Ausflüge auf A Live One sind großartig für Kinder und sehr familienfreundlich! Kinder-Schwimmwesten werden bereitgestellt, aber Sie können gerne Ihre eigenen mitbringen, wenn Sie möchten. Küsten-/Riff-Ausflüge werden ab 13 Jahren empfohlen, und Hochsee-Ganztagesausflüge sind am besten für 16+. 6 Gäste MAX für die meisten Ausflüge (4 für Hochsee-Ganztagesausflüge).

Inshore-Ausflüge sind Fangen & Freilassen. Wählen Sie Küsten-/Riff- oder Hochsee-Optionen, wenn Sie eine Mahlzeit mit nach Hause nehmen möchten. Kontaktieren Sie uns bei ALLEN Fragen. Die Ergebnisse variieren stark je nach Saison und Ausflugtyp, und wir möchten sicherstellen, dass wir Sie mit dem besten Ausflug für Ihre Crew zusammenbringen!

Alle Angelgeräte werden bereitgestellt. Lebendköder wird oft zu Beginn des Tages mit dem Wurfnetz gefangen, oder frischer Köderfisch, je nach Verfügbarkeit. Voll lizenziertes Charterboot, daher ist keine zusätzliche persönliche Lizenz erforderlich. Bringen Sie Sonnenbrillen, Sonnencreme (nicht als Spray) und Wasser in Flaschen mit. Alkohol ist in Maßen erlaubt; kein Schnaps, keine Glasflaschen und keine Kühlboxen mit Rädern.

Good family trip

3 Hour Family Shark Adventure (MAY) - 11:15 AM am Mai 27, 2026 • 5 Erwachsene

Good day on the water. Everyone very friendly. 
Scheduled for the afternoon but got a call offering next morning to avoid heavy winds. Good call, the weather was perfect. 
Note, Captain Blaire was willing to go as scheduled, but felt lower winds would result in a much more enjoyable trip. 
We have little experience fishing but he made us feel right at home. In just 3 hours he caught the bait and we landed 5 sharks between 2-4.5 feet. Mixture of black tip and fine tooth including a 30 minute fight for one fine tooth who had no intentions of giving in. 
Boat and equipment were in good order. Gave us a good safety brief before we left and even included a little HHI history lesson.

Great day to catch fish!

3 Hour Family Shark Adventure (APR) am April 10, 2026 • 4 Erwachsene • 2 Kinder

We had a fantastic trip. First and foremost, the captain cared about our comfort. The day we were supposed to fish the weather was cold and extremely windy. The captain provided us with an alternative day so we could have a better experience. When we did start our trip, my 83 year old Dad shared that he was cold and the captain whipped out a spare coat. 

The captain was great with two rambunctious and excited boys (8 and 10). He provided them age appropriate task and knew how to keep them busy even in the down time. The best were his one liners about how long it takes to catch the shark! 

I also want to note that the captain was great at handling our party that had multiple generations. He showed everyone how to get on the boat properly whether they were old or young and had great rules regarding safety. 

I would highly recommend A Live One to all looking for a comfortable and fun time.

What a great experience!

4 Hour Trip – Backcountry Inshore am Mai 28, 2026 • 4 Erwachsene

Captain Blair provided an awsome  day on the water. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. I had three curious teenage boys. All three caught a shark. We saw manta rays and dolphin. We went on a four hour trip which included cast netting for bait. It was all inshore so the water was relativley smooth. A plus!

We first found menhaden for live bait.  The other captains worked together to locate the menhaden up around Corn Island. We then set out toward the Broad River almost down the coast even w HH airport.  Capt Blair was noting how we were early enough to use the high tide change to low tide for the fish to swim against the tide to catch fish.  This worked brilliantly as we actually sat between 2 sand bars and anchored. We tried whole menhaden as well as cut bait.  Cut bait proved to be the winner as we ended up finding a school of fine toothed sharks. My son caught/released 2, I caught/released 1, and my younger we believe he caught one but it got off before we could get it close enough to the boat.  Considering we were catching shark, their razor sharp teeth were cutting the line 3-4 times when we were close to the boat.  My 7 yr old and 12 yr old both had a blast and Capt Blair was very patient and explained to them very well and showed/taught them new things about fishing.
  Would definitely go back out, and certainly recommend Capt Blair.  Our was a shorter 2 hr stint, as I wasn’t sure how the boys would take for their first one.  He does 2, 3, 5 and even deep sea tours as well.
