While they have a great team of guides, our guide Adam was especially knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone on the boat had an amazing experience on the water. The fishing was absolutely unforgettable and exceeded every expectation, with the scenery along the Kenai River was simply spectacular. Whether we were chasing salmon, enjoying the peaceful river, or just taking in the beauty of Alaska, every day felt like a new adventure. The crew made us feel like part of Alaska itself as they shared their local knowledge, stories, and love for the area. What really stood out was the perfect balance between professionalism and fun. The River Crew provides an excellent Alaskan fishing experience! My wedding party had a blast as they prepped and guided everyone so well. It was a memorable day! The guides provided all the education we needed to catch our Alaskan fish. Whether a first timer or avid fisherman/woman they will meet your need. I highly appreciated their on-board rain gear to keep dry pending AK’s variable weather. They were accommodating to find the best fishing spots to fit our group and get our catch. I will definitely be returning! Shout out and thank you to Adam and Q for being incredible guides and humans 😄🙌🏼!

The river crew is awesome. We have gone with both Adam and Quinton! Adam is so knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to go to get us fish! Not only that but he is friends with the other guides and they help each other out. Which is pretty cool to see competition getting along and helping each other. Adam does great with kids and can be so animated and fun. When talking to adult he is so easy to relate with and talk about anything. Adam was so patient with us and never got annoyed. He was always able to replace a hook or untangle a line. Oh ya and we got lots of Salmon!!!

What an amazing experience being out on the Kenai River with The River Crew! Not only did we catch a ton of fish, but it was also so relaxing and beautiful just being out on the water surrounded by incredible scenery. Our guide did such an amazing job! Even if you’re not a huge fisherman, this trip is still something you can truly enjoy. Between the peaceful atmosphere, the wildlife, and the excitement of reeling in fish, it’s an unforgettable experience. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Awesome experience on the kenai with a very knowledgeable and personable crew.

Disappointed that we didn’t catch any fish, but feel we’re probably between the sockeye run and Silver run. Our guide tried several locations. Be aware this is not so much a fishing trip but a snagging trip (floss) .Greatest disappointment was there were two other people scheduled to be on the boat. They showed up 35 minutes late and our guide waited for them . This of course meant that we lost that time fishing because we were scheduled to fish from 12 to 5 PM. And the guide made sure we were back at the dock by five. He did not extend it 35 minutes which would’ve been the reasonable thing to do since the guy decided to wait for the people to show up. This was not fair to us as customers. We checked out the location the day before. We showed up 30 minutes early and it took us an hour and a half to travel to this location.I understand fishing doesn’t always mean you catch fish but not being out on the water for the time that you paid for is certainly poor Customer Service . Also the captain we booked was not the person that took us out, but he contracted out with another guide which may have contributed to them not staying out longer since our trip started significantly late.. The guide told us he had another group of people to take out at 5 PM. Would not recommend the service not because of lack of catching fish. But the expectation when you pay for a five hour fishing trip that you actually receive the five hours and when you book a trip, you should be aware that the guide you’re hiring is contracting out to someone else.
