Went on a birthday fishing trip with my 14 yr old son. His request was for Mahi and Dalton with Salty Bowline delivered. Found three different bird sets within an hour from the dock and limited out! Boat was ready and tackle was already set up ready to go. As soon as we found the first bird set, Dalton went to action. Ive been on some charters before and the guide did all but put the fish in the fish box. As part of the birthday experience for my son, my son casted, reeled, gaffed, and loaded the fish box. Thank you Dalton and Salty Bowline for a great Birthday trip for my son. We will be back and highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked with Salty Bowline Charters, the customer service was outstanding. We had a scheduling mix-up, and the owner went above and beyond to make everything right. That level of customer care alone impressed us, but the fishing trip itself exceeded every expectation. Captain Trentin and first mate Jack were phenomenal. They worked incredibly hard all afternoon to make sure my son and I had the best possible experience. Our adventure started with an unforgettable surprise a school of dolphins swimming alongside the boat! It was the perfect way to begin the trip. Not long after, Captain Trentin found a school of giant jack crevalle, and we caught 10 fish over 30 inches! They put up an unbelievable fight and had us smiling from ear to ear. Then my son caught a Bonita, which we used as bait…and that’s when the trip turned into something we’ll be talking about for the rest of our lives. We hooked into a huge bull shark! It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This wasn’t just a fishing charter it was one of the best memories my son and I have ever shared together. Went on tarpon charter with my son-in-law with salty bowline captain Trentin Leary and he delivered big time started off slow in the morning, so he suggested splitting the day and going out 4 to 8 which paid off huge hooked into spinner sharks, angel sharks, a massive sawfish that was between 300 and 400 pounds hooked into four tarpon and landed to an amazing trip with an amazing captain. Highly suggest this charter for those people who enjoy catching big fish.

This trip was my son's graduation present and the addition of the fishing charter was icing on the cake. He brought two of his best buddies down for the trip and Salty Bowline made it excellent. They were personable knowledgeable funny engaging I could go on and on. It is a definite rebook whenever we make it to the keys the next time and I believe if it's up to my son that'll be sooner than later. You may have your next first mate/Captain in the making.

We have done quite a few fishing charters, but our time with Salty Bowline was probably one of the best we have ever done. The Caymas they run is absolutely beautiful and top of the line. We were in comfort the entire time even in some wind and chop! Trent was our Captain joined by Jackson and they were such great guys! We loved there spirit and personalities so much! They busted their butts for us getting us on bait to use for the day and always getting us on fish at almost every spot we visited! Jackson kept our lines baited and great conversation going as well! We are already planning another trip for maybe summer or fall back to Islamorada just to fish with these guys! Thank you all for the wonderful time and we can't wait to come back again!

this was an amazing trip captain trentin was super amazing helping us get all the fish in always giving us the rod very polite guy young local with much desire and passion for what he does to the first mate dalton you are also amazing hopefully soon you can be a captain and run your own boat soon. We really enjoyed this trip would come back 100% highley recommend salty bowline to others these guys are amazing.

New life highlight. Took my niece and nephew out for a late-night fish and we had a blast. Caught some awesome fish — a hammerhead, mutton snapper and a monster of a grouper, among others. The boat ride alone is worth the trip, especially as the sun starts to set. Trentin mans the boat like a pro, and he and his second mate Dalton were great with my nephew (the fisher among us). 10-10 recommend.

Five of friends including me fished with Trent Leary, Captain of the boat. We caught fish and had them prepared at two different restaurants for our dinner. The restaurants were recommended by our Captain. Trent is very knowledgeable of the area, we were confident on his decisions and recommendations. His boat was clean, the equipment was as in perfect order and his attitude was always in our best interest. My friends and I highly recommend Trent as a Captain and a fishing guide. We will fish with Trent again in the near future.

What an amazing trip! Our guide Dalton was friendly, fun, and a real pro. My daughter landed a monster 30” mutton snapper, another 25.6” mutton, and even hooked a sailfish while bottom fishing…it was crazy fun! The boat was absolutely top-notch, and the whole experience was just a blast! We’d do this again in a heartbeat.
