I took my 13-year-old twin boys bowfishing for the first time and it turned out to be one of the best experiences we’ve ever had together. The guide was fantastic, very patient, and made sure the boys had a great time while also teaching them along the way. It’s been 9 months since the trip and my boys still talk about it all the time and ask when we’re going again. That alone says everything about how great the experience was. If you’re thinking about going bowfishing, don’t hesitate. It’s an incredible experience for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend it — you won’t regret it.

John is hands down the best captain for any fishing night! He will help you get the hang of it, encourage you, and most definitely laugh when you shoot the BIGGEST log you swore was a fish! He is amazing with kids. Some of our most favorite memories over the years has been on John’s boat fishing. I couldn’t recommend him enough for any kind of trip your thinking. Bachelor trip, family trip, or just a unique date night! It’s always some of the best memories you can make.

He taught us the basics of bowfishin fishing then took us out to a variety of spots. He always got us right on the fish and we shooting the entire time. We were having such a great time, he even let us stay out late. We will be back!

I have been out with Captain John many times! Every time I’ve been out he has made it better than expected.
