    Great morning of fishing!

Captain Tom did a great job! He knows the hot spots and we quickly caught our limit of Coho and Chinook. He is very knowledgeable and easy going. We plan on coming back.

    (4 Hour Trip – Salmon - 10:00 AM)

    Great time with Ty!

Ty put us on some fish today and we caught several pinks and coho. Fishing was a little slow around, but he got us on some fish and we had a great time. Eagle and sea lion around the boat. Highly recommend fishing with Ty!

    Super day!

Our guide Jeff put us on the fish right away and helped me with my technique for hook setting with the coho. I lost count, but caught between 5 and 10 coho and one pink... had a blast! 😃

    Seth is a Great Guide!

Seth knows where to fish the Kenai and have success. He worked hard to help each of us land a nice Coho while other boats watched.

Pink Salmon fishing is fast, fun, and great for all skill levels. Pink Salmon are the smallest Pacific Salmon, but they fight hard in big schools. At sea they shine silver, and spawning males grow a small hump. Many anglers love the steady action on light tackle and the chance for plenty of bites.

You can target Pink Salmon while river fishing or nearshore around bays and estuaries. Casting small spoons, spinners, and jigs works very well. Trolling tiny hoochies or spoons also draws strikes. Fly fishing with small streamers is a blast when fish stack in softer currents. Mooching, which means drifting a natural bait slowly, is another simple and effective method.

Expect quick hits, short runs, and lots of hook-ups when the run is on. Most fish weigh 3–5 pounds, which makes them perfect for kids and first-time anglers. Use light spinning gear or a 5–7 weight fly rod for the most fun. Pack a variety of small pink and chartreuse lures, polarized sunglasses, and a rain jacket. Waders help if you plan to fish from shore. Handle fish with wet hands, and consider barbless hooks where required. Pink Salmon are tasty and versatile if you choose to keep one.

Before your trip, check local rules. Confirm fishing license and permit needs, open seasons, and harvest limits. Review any gear rules or special areas, and follow size and retention regulations in your location.
