    Great Day-Better Captain

I am in town for my daughters wedding and wanted to take my oldest grandson fishing. I let Captain Steve know it would be he and I. We caught several fish and had a great day. I told my wife the best part was how good Captain Steve was with Kenyon. I would 100% recommend Steve. It felt like we were out for just a few minutes. The day flew by and I am certain it was because of the conversation and laughing we all 3 had.

    Great morning in the water!

We had a wonderful time wirh Captain Timothy and Zack. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient with younger anglers. We booked a morning trip, caught some baitfish and headed out to try our luck. Highlight was our 14 year old catching his biggest fish ever!! Timothy was able to put us on a nice striper. The nor’easter that came through played a role in the fishing but it didnt keep us from trying and having a wonderful day on the water!!!

    Fishing with Bryan

Caught multiple species… Redfish- two over 28” and released at least a dozen more. Sheepshead-caught 3 with one 81/2 pounds. Speckled trout- got our limits and released many more. Bluefish-caught at least 10 and released them all. Two guys fishing was perfect and all the fish in under 4 hours. Brian was great!

Über Flats--Angelreisen

Flats fishing puts you in shallow, calm water where sight matters more than depth. You stalk fish in inches of water, watch for subtle signs, and make careful casts. It is intimate, exciting, and perfect for anglers who love a visual hunt.

Typical targets include Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Barracuda, and Sharks. Many are powerful game fish known for speed, stealth, and dramatic runs. The mix can include both trophy fish and steady action species.

Most anglers use light spinning or fly fishing tackle. Sight fishing is common, which means spotting fish or “nervous water” before casting. You may wade the flats or ride a shallow-draft skiff while the guide poles quietly to avoid spooking fish.

A flats trip is usually half day to full day in sheltered, inshore waters. It suits beginners, families, and seasoned anglers, as guides tailor the plan to skill level. Bring polarized sunglasses, sun protection, quick-dry clothing, and non-marking shoes. Pack light, stay quiet, and be ready to cast fast when a fish appears.

Before you go, check local rules for fishing licenses or permits. Review open seasons, harvest limits, and gear regulations for your area. Rules change often, so confirm details close to your trip.
