    (Two hr quick trip)

    Good Time!

Capt. Tom and his son were good, down to earth, knowledgeable people. We did a quick trip this time, caught fish, and had a good time. Next time we’ll book a 4 hour trip.

Über Riff--Angelreisen

Reef fishing targets the rich life that gathers around natural and artificial reefs. These rocky or coral structures hold bait fish, which draw in hungry predators. The result is steady action, simple setups, and a real chance at memorable catches for any skill level.

Common targets include Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Barracuda, and Black Seabass. Many reefs also attract Cobia, Mahi Mahi, and fast Trevally along their edges. Sharks may cruise by, too. On deeper reef walls, you might even spot pelagic sport fish hunting bait.

Anglers use bottom fishing to place bait near the seafloor where fish feed. Jigging means working a metal lure up and down to trigger bites. Drift fishing lets the boat move with wind and current to cover ground. Trolling along reef lines can draw strikes higher in the water. Chumming brings fish to you. Spearfishing is an option where it is legal and conditions allow.

Trips are flexible and suit beginners, families, and seasoned anglers. Expect quick drops, solid hits, and strong runs. Captains usually supply rods, reels, tackle, and local know-how. Bring sun protection, a hat, polarized sunglasses, snacks, and drinks as allowed. Soft-soled shoes help on deck. Listen to the crew, respect the reef, and enjoy fast, hands-on fishing.

Before you go, check local rules. You may need a fishing license or permit. Seasons, size limits, and daily harvest rules often apply to reef species. Some areas are marine parks with special restrictions. Regulations change, so confirm details close to your trip. Responsible reef fishing helps keep these waters healthy for everyone.
