Captain Mike Kabacinski has been fishing the waters of Green Bay for over two decades and has also been an Alaskan guide for five summers. There, he mastered the waters of Kodiak Island and fished for Halibut, Trout, Cod, and Salmon. Mike also captained boats for various other tours, such as whale watching, bear viewing, sea kayaking, crab fishing, and eagle watching. He also navigated the shallow rivers and streams via jet boat, targeting all 5 species of Salmon, Grayling, and Trout.

    Great experience and a very knowledgeable guide. Even though the bite was slow today, the trip was still absolutely worth it. The guide worked hard from start to finish, kept us moving to multiple productive areas, and was clearly committed to giving us the best opportunity possible. He showed us several different spots, explained exactly why he was choosing each one, and taught me a lot about the fishery, presentations, and how conditions were affecting the bite. What really made the trip stand out was the conversation and the amount I learned. It never felt like just “driving around hoping.” Every move had a purpose, and I came away with a much better understanding of the water. You can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and making sure his clients have a great overall experience, even when the fish aren’t fully cooperating. I’d definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to learn the water and spend time with a hardworking, knowledgeable guide, and I would gladly book again.

    Great guide, poor bite

    Captain Mike did an awesome job setting up 8 trolling boards with crank baits and kept them functioning well. We caught a few walleye but hoped for better fishing. Many boats out on the water with fair to poor results. That's fishing. He was great with the 7 year old boy as well. Would book again with him.

    Terrible weather conditions, but we limited out walleyes. And caught multiple other species.

Made it out on the ice the last couple days and found quite a few Perch!most are ranging from 7.5-9". Lots of smaller fish being caught as well keeping the action steady.

Got out over the weekend and despite all the nasty weather weve been gettin Ive still been managing limits in only a couple hours!! Trolling seems to be the best method right now but have been trying some jigging as well. Big fish from the weekend was 29.5" and had some more just under that! Crank baits and crawlers have been producing.
