Captain Justin has spent most of his life on the water. From a young age he grew up fishing on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. Once he graduated from high school, he began commercial fishing out of Morehead City until he joined the United State Marine Corps. During his time in the USMC, Captain Justin became a Chief Coxswain. While stationed in Camp Pendleton, California, Captain Justin was also able to pursue his passion of being on the water. He spent his free time mating on charter boats out of Ocean Side Harbor in California. After the USMC, Captain Justin began tournament King Mackerel fishing on the Southern Kingfish Association Trail. Captain Justin, along with his wife and their two sons, have consistently placed in the Top 5 of this competitive circuit.

    Family time with the boys!

    Great time on the water! Highly recommend Captain Justin and Family Time Fishing. They were ready to fish when we arrived and got us fishing in short order. Everyone caught two or more fish while the other boats were coming up empty. Looking forward to trying again with Family Time in the future!

    Great day fishing

    My sons and I did the full day (8h) and had a great time. We caught loads of fish including near limit (8, 9 is limit) of King Mackerel. Captain and first mate were excellent. Knew where the fish were, kind, and professional. Boat is great with nice indoor cabin and bathroom. Highly recommend and will be back.

    Great day fishing!

    Very well kept, clean, large boat with inside cabin perfect for those with families who want to get out of the sun or stay warmer when chilly. Captain and mate very friendly and put us on some nice bonita, spanish and blues. Fun day and would use them again for sure when we're in the area.

    Justin and his first mate gave my brothers and me exactly the deep-sea fishing experience we were looking for — a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and nonstop action. There wasn’t a moment our lines were in the water without getting bites. We pulled in over a 100 pounds of black bass, triggerfish, and porgies. Run, don’t walk, to grab your phone and book your trip with this charter!

    Great time catching Spanish Mackerel.

    Crew was very kind and helpful with myself and two teenager girls. We had so much fun and the boat was perfect for everyone as they needed breaks. ***Mom definitely won the competition, even though they teamed up against me.

The Black Bass bite continues to be great on the near shore structure and we able to het them when the weather dosent want to cooperate with us to get offshore.

The very Tasty and hard fighting Atlantic Bonito have been on fire the last week and we are starting to see some Spanish Mackerel showing up. All these have been on our 1/2 days.

1/2 Day fishing heating up

Our half day trips have been really good with lots of Spanish Mackerel and Blue fish in every trip with some really large spanish up to 6 pounds. We have also had a few kings in the mix.
