Corpus Christi, Vereinigte Staaten
USCG Licensed Capt. Hunter Ramos was born & raised in Corpus Christi, TX. He found his love for the outdoors at an early age, growing up spending his time hunting whitetail and fishing on the Texas coast. After graduating from Texas A&M University College Station in 2008, Capt. Hunter spent the next 16 years balancing his passion for fly fishing on the Texas coast with working in the corporate world. Today, you can find Capt. Hunter pursuing his sight casting passions. From hunting tailing redfish on the Texas coast on his Beavertail poling skiff to jumping tarpon on a panga to stalking tailing permit in Belize, Capt. Hunter is a devoted saltwater guide and angler. Capt. Hunter's laid-back personality and knack for positive encouragement work well with beginning anglers and seasoned anglers alike (we only yell at the picky fish we come across). He built a passion for coaching and developing leaders in the corporate world and transitioned that passion into teaching beginners and enriching skillsets of experienced anglers on the bow of his poling skiff. He hopes to assist his anglers find and develop their passion for the sport, and to grow the fly fishing community along the way. Book a trip with Capt. Hunter today, let's explore the gin-clear Texas saltwater in pursuit of big redfish and trout on fly and light tackle. Capt. Hunter provides all rods/reels (Hardy, G. Loomis, Tibor), terminal tackle, and flies/lures- but feel free to bring your own on the skiff if you would like!
