Captain Blake has fished his entire life and decided to make it into a profession. He has enjoyed his career and he looks forward to many more years guiding clients on the water. The captain uses many different techniques to catch fish. From drifting in the boat with lures or live bait to wade fishing shallow flats, you can do whatever it takes to catch it.

The captain had some mechanical issues with his boat and wasn’t able to make our trip happen. He was able to get us paired up with another boat/captain the night before which was a plus. Long story short, it was a rough day for our crew. We sat around about 6 other boats that were NON-STOP reeling in keeper after keeper after keeper….all while we were catching hard heads and tiny reds. Not blaming this on our booked or used captains just stating the facts. Can’t always have a great day catching but this was an exceptionally lackluster trip by a long shot. I would recommend talking to a few captains ahead of booking anything to see how it’s been going and to ensure they’ve got reliable equipment and vetted results just so you know what you could be in for.

A great way to spend Sunday morning

My son and I went out for a Sunday morning trip (10/26) and had a great time. Mike did a fantastic job finding fish - we each got a big redfish! Caught about 25 fish total, mostly specks with some sand trout and black drum mixed in. Unfortunately, most of the fish were not keepers, but we had a great time nonetheless!

It was a great trip! Even with 4 guys, most of which hadnt fished, Blake set us up and helped us have a great time!
