Captain Fred is a local who has been fishing in Minocqua for 25 years. He decided to make a living out of his passion and got his fishing license in 2017. For him, the best part of the job is being able to teach new techniques to customers and see them get better at it. He loves being on the water every day.

Halbtagesausflug (Nachmittag) • 2 ErwachseneWe had a guided fishing trip with Fred Palermo, Off the Hook Fishing Adventures, we started out the morning a little slow in the first two spots, the Crappies weren’t cooperating, Fred took us to a third spot and the action really picked up. My grandson was the star of the day catching a lot of nice one, he had the prime spot in the bow of the boat. Overall we caught about 40 fish, we took home 20 really nice 11” or larger crappies, overall a wonderful day fishing.

Das Wetter kühlt sich stetig ab und Musky ist offiziell das Hauptziel in der Gegend. Wenn Sie Glück haben, könnte dieser Monat sogar einen Trophäenfang bringen – sofern Sie das nötige Können mitbringen. Alternativ ist auch der Biss von Smallmouth Bass und Crappie gut.
