  We had an absolutely fantastic 5‑hour fishing trip with Captain Norm. From the moment we stepped aboard, his knowledge of Lake Tahoe, its history, and its unique fishing patterns made the entire experience feel both educational and exciting. Norm clearly knows these waters inside and out, and it showed — we ended up catching seven beautiful rainbow trout, each one adding to the thrill of the day. Beyond the fishing itself, what made the trip truly special was the time spent swapping stories. Norm is not just a great captain; he’s a great storyteller. We spent hours laughing and sharing tales about scuba diving adventures, and it felt like we were out on the lake with an old friend rather than someone we had just met. If you’re looking for a guide who’s skilled, patient, fun, and genuinely passionate about Lake Tahoe, Captain Norm is the one you want. This trip was the perfect blend of learning, catching fish, and enjoying great company. Highly recommended.

  Captian Norm was a superior guide. The trip overall was enjoyable with wonderful views, amusing but clean conversation, family friendly with great snacks and drinks. As an experienced fisherman, I was still able to learn new tactics. My wife (who caught the lunker of a lifetime) and my daughter ( who won the family " tournament " with the most amount of fish) were thrilled. Would definitely recommend this outfit.

  We had a fantastic fishing experience! Norm was a great captian and made this fishing trip a lifelong memory! We’re not well versed in fishhing, but wanted to take our kids ages 12, 11, amd 8. Norm was patient, fun, knowledgeable, and gave our family a great experience! We would do this again, and highly recommend this trip to anyone!

  Great experience! The lake is awesome. Tough time of year to pull them in, but it was a great time for our group. We hope to come back.
