While the trolling has been very slow for this time of year, the bottom fishing is more than making up for it. On our full day trips our clients are getting limits of Gag grouper, Scamp grouper and Red grouper along with triggerfish, vermillion snapper and many more. On our six and eight our trips we are catching some really nice gag grouper and a few king mackerel. Hopefully the bottom fishing keeps up and the trolling improves!

The gag grouper fishing has been on fire! our clients have loved battling these hard fighting fish using live bait, these tasty fish can be reached on trips as short as our six hour until the season closes on the 26th of June. Grouper season is finally upon us! although we have a shortened gag grouper season from May 1 to June 26th, the rest of the grouper species (scamp, red, etc) are still open all year. The gag grouper is one you can catch on a six or eight hour charter instead of having to book a longer more expensive charter to reach the scamp and red grouper grounds. The limit is 2 gags per boat but our six hours have also been producing some king mackerel, big seabass and a few cobia. Book your trip today!

Our gulfstream trips are starting to produce good numbers of blackfin tuna as well as some nice fat triggerfish. The tuna action was fast and furious this morning and these guys were done by 9 o'clock!

Doesnt get much better than that! we were lucky to catch a jump on camera from about a 300 pound sword we caught for the first one on the new yellowfin. A good sign of things to come!

Pleased to announce that from now on I will be running charters on a 32 yellowfin! We took it out last week to break it in and had a nice swordfish around 300 pounds then stopped on the way in to check out some grouper spots for the upcoming season, they're there in good numbers and were excited to get you on them! looking forward to the 2025 season.
