Beschreibung des Ausflugs

The redfish bite is pretty hot in the bay and surrounding bayous. We had our one person limit with the forst three live shrimp our custumer tossed out. Several smaller ones released to swim and fight another day. The two hour trip is a good trip to see if you enjoy saltwater fishing. And as you can see it can be very fruitful.

The weather has been a little too windy the past few days to fish the reefs so we switched up to trying a few bayous. I think we have caught every croaker and catfish in the bayou. Sometimes it is just fun to bend a pole and relax with new friends.

Well the storm didnt hurt the bite too bad. The bait is scattered so the fish are as well. Just have to move alot and follow the bait. This last trip we got some nice quality slot redfish and several bigger soeckled trout.

We made the run to Cat and got our trip in right before it stattedvto blow. Itvwas a but windy this mor ing but the big trout have shown up and could have cares less. The breeze helped keep most of the flies off and the tenps tolerable. Seams lime aerly morninh is when the bite is the best right now.
