We've been catching plenty of speckled trout on live shrimp under popping corks, along with shrimp-imitating lures when the bite picks up. Redfish have stayed active on the shallow grass flats, and live shrimp has continued to be one of the most reliable baits. We've also been catching a few black drum, making for fun action and great trips for families with kids. The best fishing has been early in the morning with good bait movement and clean water.
