The water is still pretty hot in the waterway but we are able to pick a few fish still. Theres a good many flounder around that are keeping us busy, and were catching a few trout and redfish that we are able to take home for dinner!

The wind is still blowing so were still sticking it out in the backwater. Theres a few nice trout hanging out, some reds and plenty of flounder to keep everyone active right now. It looks like the weather is going to break for us soon, so fingers crossed.

We had one beautiful day of weather in the midst of all the storms. We were able to sneak out and get after some bottom fish. We started out in the 35-40 mile range and caught some really nice gag grouper and red snapper. We were also able to catch our limit of vermillion snapper. The weather for the upcoming week looks a lot better so we are hoping for some better fishing as well on our other trips.
