Double Time!

November can be a slower month for fishing, but that doesn't mean that we still don't go fishing as often as we can! Ona day off, Capt. Dan, Deckhand TJ, a group of friends and I headed off on a short morning adventure. Of course when you're with friends, they always seem to be running late. We headed out around 8 AM and decided to head south and see what was happening. An hour and a half later the first short nose came in on the long rigger, took a swipe at it, missed but we were able to tease it for a minute or two and by the time our rigger dropped back beside our stinger line, that fish took it and we were off. No sooner had a visiting friend sat in the chair when all of a sudden, the short rigger also went off and now we were fighting two fish! Needless to say we landed both and had a great story for them to go home with and plenty of fish to share with friends on the island. November might be a little slower, but it's still great fishing!!!
