Afternoon redfish and trout

The fishing in the bay is as good as it gets right now. The main targets have been black drum, sheepshead, trout, flounder, and redfish.

Tarpon fishing has been insanely good lately! Weve been getting multiple opportunities and even getting them to eat artificials most days. If you want to check tarpon off your bucket list, now is the time to go.

We have put 29 cobia in the boat in the past two weeks. Today we had a monster 80+ pound fish jump and cut the line with its gills. A few minutes latet we hooked another but this time it was on a small jig rod setup for hogfish. We chased the fish for 15 minutes and he spooled us twice before he wore through the 10lb leader. We still managed a great box but those two will haunt is for a while.
