We fished saturday july 6th and caught a bunch of walleye and a few rainbows. Surprisingly Fishing seemed best around 9-11 am. The weather was a bit cooler last week. We fished today and caught one walleye and 3 trout. It was a bit slow and fish were very finicky. With the heat things are slowing down a little bit.

We are currently catching trout and some walleye while trolling, typically catching 2-3 walleye per trip around 14-17". Trout are around same size while sometimes catching one or two over 18"-19". Typically catching around 12-20 rainbow trout per trip. We have also been able to catch some smallmouth bass. Mostly smaller, but we did catch one at 17.5" 3lb the other day, was a super nice smallie. We recommend catch and release on bass while they are currently spawning. If you are debating a trip with us. Please come out on a weekday! We experience less boat traffic on the lake and also have our best amount of walleye june-july, trout will also be amazing in the early mornings in mid-late june to late july.
