Calm water and warm sunshine ! In two days we boated over 50 Chinook salmon . With the average fish in the low teens it has been unreal! Most fish coming from top 150 feet of water makes for a great fight! Still have some openings , don't miss this chance at a record run of salmon!

The Chinook fishing is heating up, lots of fish in the 22-26 inch range with decent numbers of fish in the teens . Most days are flat calm and the scenery of snow capped mountains and abundant sea life are unreal! The herring spawn being in full swing draws killer whales , humpbacks whales, sea lions and sea birds to feed with the salmon migration. Spoons and anchovies are producing . Fishing from 140 to 300 feet works best ..

Out on the Salish sea this winter the water has been flat and the weather above normal making for lots of great days ! Fish are biting on anchovies at around 200 feet deep. Shorter leaders with bullet role chartreuse teaser head and a blue flasher seems to be out fishing everything else. Fish from 10-20 lbs are common in the winter months and great table fare! Tight lines everyone and happy new year !
