Fun Trip on Deer Creek

My family and I had a great time with Weston on his pontoon boat on Deer Creek Reservoir. We chose the mid-day fishing time. The bite was slow but we were still able to catch several really good sized trout. I would recommend, as the Capt did, going on the earlier trip for a more active bite. After an hour or so of fishing we jumped in the lake to cool off. It was refreshing. Weston cleaned and filleted our catch. We cooked it for dinner at our cabin. It was delicious. Weston has the perfect personality to be a fishing guide. He's calm, friendly, communicates well, and knows how to get you on fish.
